عِنْدَ
A word in the Arabic language will either be 1) a verb or 2) a noun or 3) a particle – عِنْدَ is a particle (adverb of place)
(Preposition), Here, With, By, At the point of, About, From, In the presence of, The word denotes the idea of nearness, whether it be actual in the sense of possession or ideational, it also denotes a sense of rank or dignity or opinion, time and place

| And when Moses said to his people “O my people! Truly you have wronged yourselves | وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوْسَى لِقَوْمِهِ يَا قَوْمِ إِنَّكُمْ ظَلَمْتُمْ أَنْفُسَكُمْ | |
| by taking the calf (for worship) so, turn to your Creator (in repentance) | بِاتِّخَاذِكُمُ العِجْلَ فَتُوْبُوْا إِلَى بَارِئِكُمْ | |
| and kill yourselves (ego) that will be better for you with your Creator” | فَاقْتُلُوْا أَنْفُسَكُمْ ذَلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ عِنْدَ بَارِئِكُمْ | |
| 2-54 | then He accepted your repentance Truly He is the One Who accepts repentance, Most Merciful | فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِنَّهُ هُوَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيْمُ |
| Truly those who believe and those who are Jews and Christians and Sabian’s | إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوْا وَالَّذِيْنَ هَادُوْا وَالنَّصَارَى وَالصَّابِئِيْنَ | |
| who believe in Allah (SWT) and the last day and do righteous deeds | مَنْ ءَامَنَ بِاللهِ وَاليَوْمِ الأَخِرِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا | |
| 2-62 | for them, their reward is with their Lord and on them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve | فَلَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُوْنَ |
| And when they meet those who believe they say: “We believe” and when they meet one another in private | وَإِذَا لَقُوْا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا قَالُوْا ءَامَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلَا بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ | |
| they say, “Do you tell them about what Allah (SWT) has revealed to you | قَالُوْا أَتُحَدِّثُوْنَهُمْ بِمَا فَتَحَ اللهُ عَلَيْكُمْ | |
| 2-76 | that they may argue with you about it with your Lord, have you then no understanding? | لِيُحَاجُّوْكُمْ بِهِ عِنْدَ رَبِّكُمْ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُوْنَ |
| And they say “The fire shall not touch us but for numbered days” | وَقَالُوْا لَنْ تَمَسَّنَا النَّارُ إِلَّا أَيَّامًا مَعْدُوْدَةً | |
| Say “Have you taken a covenant with Allah SWT that Allah SWT will not break His Covenant? | قُلْ أَتَّخَذْتُمْ عِنْدَ اللهِ عَهْدًا فَلَنْ يُخْلِفَ اللهُ عَهْدَهُ | |
| 2-80 | or you say of Allah (SWT) what you know not?” | أَمْ تَقُوْلُوْنَ عَلَى اللهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ |
| Say “If the home of the Hereafter with Allah (SWT) be for you exclusively | قُلْ إِنْ كَانَتْ لَكُمُ الدَّارُ الآخِرَةُ عِنْدَ اللهِ خَالِصَةً | |
| 2-94 | out of all mankind then wish for death if you are truthful” | مِّنْ دُوْنِ النَّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوُا المَوْتَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِيْنَ |
| and establish the prayer and pay the obligatory tax and whatever you send forth for yourselves of good | وَأَقِيْمُوْا الصَّلَاةَ وَءَاتُوْا الزَّكَاةَ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوْا لِأَنِفُسِكُمْ مِّنْ خَيْرٍ | |
| 2-110 | you will find it with Allah SWT, certainly Allah SWT is All-Seeing of what you do | تَجِدُوْهُ عِنْدَ اللهِ إِنَّ اللهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ بَصِيْرٌ |
| Nay, who submits himself to Allah (SWT) and he is a good doer, for him, his reward is with his Lord | بَلَى مَنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ فَلَهُ أَجْرُهُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِ | |
| 2-112 | and there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve | وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُوْنَ |
| Do you say that Ebrahim (AS) and Ismail (AS) and Ishaq (AS) and Yaqub (AS) | أَمْ تَقُوْلُوْنَ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيْلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوْبَ | |
| and the descendants were Jews or Christians? Say “Are you more knowledgeable or is Allah (SWT) more knowledgeable?” | وَالأَسْبَاطَ كَانُوْا هُوْدًا أَوْ نَصَارَى قُلْ ءَأَنْتُمْ أَعْلَمُ أَمِ اللهُ | |
| who is more unjust than who conceals a testimony (he has) with him from Allah (SWT)? | وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنْ كَتَمَ شَهَادَةً عِنْدَهُ مِنَ اللهِ | |

| 98-8 | therein forever, Allah SWT pleased with them and they with Him, that is for who feared his Lord | رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوْا عَنْهُ ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُ |
