| How can you disbelieve in Allah? seeing that you were dead, and He brought you to life | كَيْفَ تَكْفُرُوْنَ بِاللهِ وَكُنْتُمْ أَمْوَاتًا فَأَحْيَاكُمْ |
| 2-28 | then He will cause you to die, then again, He will bring you to life, then unto Him you will return | ثُمَّ يُمِيْتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيْكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُوْنَ |
| He it is Who created for you all that is on earth | هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ لَكُمْ مَّا فِي الأَرْضِ جَمِيْعًا |
| then He established the heaven and proportioned them into seven heavens | ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى إِلَى السَّمَآءِ فَسَوَّاهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمَوَاتٍ |
| 2-29 | and He is All Knowing over everything | وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيْمٌ |
| And He taught Adam (AS) all the names then He showed them to the angels and said | وَعَلَّمَ ءَادَمَ الأَسْمَآءَ كُلَّهَا ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى المَلَآئِكَةِ فَقَالَ |
| 2-31 | “Tell me the names of these if you are truthful” | أَنْبِئُوْنِي بِأَسْمَآءِ هَآؤُلَآءِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِيْنَ |
| And when we appointed for Moses (RA) forty nights | وَإِذْ وَاعَدْنَا مُوْسَى أَرْبَعِيْنَ لَيْلَةً |
| 2-51 | then you took the calf after that (for worship) so, you became wrongdoers | ثُمَّ اتَّخَذْتُمُ العِجْلَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ وَأَنْتُمْ ظَالِمُوْنَ |
| 2-52 | Then We forgave you after that so that you might be grateful | ثُمَّ عَفَوْنَا عَنْكُمْ مِّنْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُوْنَ |
| 2-56 | Then We raised you up after your death so that you might be grateful | ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَاكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَوْتِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُوْنَ |

| 74-15 | then he hopes that I increase | ثُمَّ يَطْمَعُ أَنْ أَزِيْدَ |
| 74-20 | then again, may he be killed (destroyed) seeing as how he plotted | ثُمَّ قُتِلَ كَيْفَ قَدَّرَ |
| 74-21 | then he looked | ثُمَّ نَظَرَ |
| 74-22 | then he frowned and scowled (looked in a bad-tempered way) | ثُمَّ عَبَسَ وَبَسَرَ |
| 74-23 | then he turned back and was arrogant | ثُمَّ أَدْبَرَ وَاسْتَكْبَرَ |
| 75-19 | then truly it is upon Us to make it clear | ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهُ |
| 75-33 | then he went to his family, arrogantly | ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ يَتَمَطَّى |
| 75-35 | then woe! to you, again woe! | ثُمَّ أَوْلَى لَكَ فَأَوْلَى |
| 75-38 | then he became a clinging substance, then He created, and He proportioned | ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةً فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّى |
| 77-17 | then We cause them to be followed by the later (generations) ones | ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ الآخِرِيْنَ |
| 78-5 | Again nay! soon they will come to know | ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُوْنَ |
| 79-22 | then he turned his back, striving | ثُمَّ أَدْبَرَ يَسْعَى |
| 80-20 | then He made the way easy for him (natural) | ثُمَّ السَّبِيْلَ يَسَّرَهُ |
| 80-21 | then He causes him to die, then He provides for him a grave | ثُمَّ أَمَاتَهُ فَأَقْبَرَهُ |
| 80-22 | then when He wills, He will resurrect him | ثُمَّ إِذَا شَآءَ أَنْشَرَهُ |
| 80-26 | then We split the earth with a splitting | ثُمَّ شَقَقْنَا الأَرْضَ شَقًّا |
| 82-18 | Again, what will make you know what the day of judgement is? | ثُمَّ مَآ أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّيْنِ |
| 83-16 | Then, verily they will indeed burn in hell | ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمْ لَصَالُوا الجَحِيْمِ |
| 83-17 | then it will be said “this is what you used to deny” | ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَذَا الَّذِي كُنْتُمْ بِهِ تُكَذِّبُوْنَ |
| Truly those who persecute the believing men and women | إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ فَتَنُوا المُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَالمُؤْمِنَاتِ |
| then they do not repent | ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُوا |
| 85-10 | for them is punishment in hell and for them is the punishment of the burning fire | فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ الحَرِيْقِ |
| 87-13 | then he will neither die in it, nor live | ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَى |
| 88-26 | then verily for Us will be their reckoning | ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا حِسَابَهُمْ |
| 90-17 | then he became of those who believed and recommended to patience and recommended to mercy | ثُمَّ كَانَ مِنْ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوْا وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالمَرْحَمَةِ |
| 95-5 | Then We reduced him to the lowest of the low | ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَاهُ أَسْفَلَ سَافِلِيْنَ |
| 102-4 | Again, nay! Soon you will know | ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُوْنَ |
| 102-7 | Then you will certainly see it with the sight of certainty | ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ الْيَقِيْنِ |
| 102-8 | Then you will certainly be asked on that day about the pleasures | تُمَّ لَتُسْئَلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ النَّعِيْمِ |
