| Who has made the earth a resting place for you and the sky a canopy | الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الأَرْضَ فِرَاشًا وَالسَّمَاءَ بِنَاءً | |
| and sent down water from the sky and brought forth therewith fruits as a provision for you | وَأَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَخْرَجَ بِهِ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ رِزْقًا لَّكُمْ | |
| 2-22 | then do not set up rivals unto Allah SWT while you know (better) | فَلَا تَجْعَلُوْا لِلَّهِ أَنْدَادًا وَأَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ |
| Those who break Allah (SWT’s) covenant after ratifying it | الَّذِيْنَ يَنْقُضُوْنَ عَهْدَ اللهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مِيْثَاقِهِ | |
| and sever what Allah SWT has ordered in it to be joined (reached) | وَيَقْطَعُوْنَ مَا أَمَرَ اللهُ بِهِ أَنْ يُوْصَلَ | |
| 2-27 | and cause mischief on earth. They, they are the losers | وَيُفْسِدُوْنَ فِي الأَرْضِ أُوْلَائِكَ هُمُ الخَاسِرُوْنَ |
| He it is Who created for you all that is on earth | هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ لَكُمْ مَّا فِي الأَرْضِ جَمِيْعًا | |
| then He rose over towards the heaven and made them | ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَسَوَّاهُنَّ | |
| 2-29 | seven heavens, He is All Knowing over everything | سَبْعَ سَمَوَاتٍ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيْمٌ |
| And when your Lord said to the angels “Verily I am going to place a vicegerent on earth,” | وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ إِنِّي جَاعِلٌ فِي الأَرْضِ خَلِيْفَةً | |
| they said “will you place in it one who will make mischief therein and shed blood? | قَالُوْا أَتَجْعَلُ فِيْهَا مَنْ يُفْسِدُ فِيْهَا وَيَسْفِكُ الْدِّمَآءَ | |
| 2-30 | while we glorify You with praises and sanctify You” He said “Truly I know that which you do not know” | وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِكَ وَنُقَدِّسُ لَكَ قَالَ إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ |
| He (SWT) said “O Adam! Inform them of their names” and when he had informed them of their names | قَالَ يَا ءَادَمُ أَنْبِئْهُمْ بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ فَلَمَّآ أَنْبَأَهُمْ بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ | |
| He (SWT) said Did I not tell you that I know the unseen in the heavens | قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُلْ لَكُمْ إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ غَيْبَ السَّمَوَاتِ | |

| He will certainly grant them succession in the earth as He gave succession to those who were before them | لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِى الأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِيْنَ مِن قَبْلِهِم | |
| and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He has approved for them | وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُم دِيْنَهُمُ الَّذِي ارْتَضَى لَهُم | |
| and surely, He will exchange for them from after their fear, security for they worship Me, not | وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُم مِّن بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِم أَمْنًا يَعْبُدُونَنِى لَا | |
| they associate with Me anything but whoever disbelieved after that, then those are the defiantly disobedient | يُشْرِكُوْنَ بِى شَيْئًا وَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَأُوْلَآئِكَ هُمُ الفَاسِقُوْنَ | |
