2-8 | And of mankind there are some who say “We believe in Allah (SWT) and the last day” while they do not believe | وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَقُوْلُ ءَامَنَّا بِاللهِ وَبِالْيَوْمِ الأَاخِرِ وَمَا هُمْ بِمُوْمِنِيْنَ |
They wish to deceive Allah (SWT) and those who believe, however they deceive not but themselves | يُخَادِعُوْنَ اللهَ وَالَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوْا وَمَا يَخْدَعُوْنَ إِلَّا أَنْفُسَهُمْ | |
2-9 | yet they perceive it not | وَمَا يَشْعُرُوْنَ |
In their hearts is a disease and Allah (SWT) has increased their disease | فِي قُلُوْبِهِمْ مَرَضٌ فَزَادَهُمُ اللهُ مَرَضًا | |
2-10 | and for them is a painful punishment because they were liars | وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيْمٌ بِمَا كَانُوْا يَكْذِبُوْنَ |
2-15 | Allah (SWT) mocks at them and increases them in their wrongdoing to wander blindly | اللهُ يَسْتَهْزِئُ بِهِمْ وَيَمُدُّهُمْ فِيْ طُغْيَانِهِمْ يَعْمَهُوْنَ |
Their likeness is as the likeness of one who kindled a fire, then, when it lighted all around him | مَثَلُهُمْ كَمَثَلِ الَّذِي اسْتَوْقَدَ نَارًا فَلَمَّا أَضَاءَتْ مَا حَوْلَهُ | |
2-17 | Allah (SWT) took away their light and left them in darkness so they could not see | ذَهَبَ اللهُ بِنُوْرِهِمْ وَتَرَكَهُمْ فِي ظُلُمَاتٍ لَّا يُبْصِرُوْنَ |
or like a rainstorm from the sky wherein is darkness, thunder and lightning. They thrust their fingers in their ears | أَوْ كَصَيِّبٍ مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ فِيْهِ ظُلُمَاتٌ وَرَعْدٌ وَبَرْقٌ يَجْعَلُوْنَ أَصَابِعَهُمْ فِي ءَاذَانِهِمْ | |
2-19 | to keep out the thunderclap for fear of death but Allah (SWT) ever encompasses the disbelievers | مِّنَ الصَّوَاعِقِ حَذَرَ المَوْتِ وَاللهُ مُحِيْطٌ بِالكَافِرِيْنَ |
The lightning almost snatches away their sight, whenever it flashes for them they walk therein | يَكَادُ البَرْقُ يَخْطَفُ أَبْصَارَهُمْ كُلَّمَا أَضَاءَ لَهُمْ مَشَوْا فِيْهِ | |
and when darkness covers them, they stand still and if Allah (SWT) willed | وَإِذَا أَظْلَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ قَامُوْا وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللهُ | |
2-20 | He could have taken away their hearing and their sight, certainly, Allah (SWT) has power over all things | لَذَهَبَ بِسَمْعِهِمْ وَأَبْصَارِهِمْ إِنَّ اللهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ |
Who has made the earth a resting place for you and the sky a canopy and sent down water from the sky and | الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الأَرْضَ فِرَاشًا وَالسَّمَاءَ بِنَاءً وَأَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً | |
2-22 | brought forth therewith fruits as a provision for you then do not set up rivals unto Allah (SWT) while you know | فَأَخْرَجَ بِهِ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ رِزْقًا لَّكُمْ فَلَا تَجْعَلُوْا لِلَّهِ أَنْدَادًا وَأَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ |
and if you are in doubt concerning what We have sent down to Our slave, then produce a surah | وَإِنْ كُنْتُمْ فِي رَيْبٍ مِمَّا نَزَّلْنَا عَلَى عَبْدِنَا فَأْتُوْا بِسُوْرَةٍ مِّن | |
2-23 | like it and call your supporters other than Allah (SWT), if you are truthful | مِّثْلِهِ وَادْعُوْا شُهَدَاءَكُمْ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللهِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِيْنَ |
Verily Allah (SWT) is not averse to set forth a parable of a mosquito or what is more than it | إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَسْتَحْيِ أَنْ يَضْرِبَ مَثَلًا مَّا بَعُوْضَةً فَمَا فَوْقَهَا | |
and as for the believers they know that it is the Truth from their Lord | فَأَمَّا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوْا فَيَعْلَمُوْنَ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَّبِّهِمْ | |
however as for those who disbelieve they say, “What did Allah (SWT) intend by this parable?” | وَأَمَّا الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا فَيَقُوْلُوْنَ مَاذَا أَرَادَ اللهُ بِهَاذَا مَثَلًا | |
2-26 | By it He misleads many and by it He guides many and He does not mislead by it but the rebellious | يُضِلُّ بِهِ كَثِيْرًا وَيَهْدِي بِهِ كَثِيْرًا وَمَا يُضِلُّ بِهِ إِلَّا الْفَاسِقِيْنَ |
Those who break Allah (SWT’s) covenant after ratifying it and sever what Allah (SWT) has ordered to be | الَّذِيْنَ يَنْقُضُوْنَ عَهْدَ اللهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مِيْثَاقِهِ وَيَقْطَعُوْنَ مَا أَمَرَ اللهُ | |
2-27 | joined and do mischief on earth. Them, they are the losers | بِهِ أَنْ يُوْصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُوْنَ فِي الأَرْضِ أُوْلَائِكَ هُمُ الخَاسِرُوْنَ |
How can you disbelieve in Allah (SWT)? seeing that you were dead and He gave you life | كَيْفَ تَكْفُرُوْنَ بِاللهِ وَكُنْتُمْ أَمْوَاتًا فَأَحْيَاكُمْ | |
2-28 | then He will cause you to die, then again, He will bring you to life, then unto Him you will return | ثُمَّ يُمِيْتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيْكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُوْنَ |

and not We made the companions of the fire, except angels | وَمَا جَعَلْنَآ أَصْحَابَ النَّارِ إِلَّا مَلَآئِكَةً | |
and not We made their number, except a trial for those who disbelieve | وَمَا جَعَلْنَا عَدَّتَهُمْ إِلَّا فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا | |
so that those who were given the book may be convinced and those who believe may increase in faith | لَيَسْتَيْقِنَ الَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُوا الكِتَابَ وَيَزْدَادَ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا إِيْمَانًا | |
and those who were given the book and the believers do not doubt | وَلَا يَرْتَابَ الَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُوا الكِتَابَ وَالمُؤْمِنُوْنَ | |
and those in whose hearts is a disease and the disbelievers may say, | وَلِيَقُوْلَ الَّذِيْنَ فِيْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ مَرَضٌ وَالكَافِرُوْنَ | |
“What does Allah (SWT) intend by this example?” | مَاذَآ أَرَادَ اللهُ بِهَذَا مَثَلًا | |
thus Allah (SWT) leads astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills | كَذَلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللهُ مَنْ يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَآءُ | |
74-31 | and he knows not the hosts of your Lord but He and not is this except a reminder to mankind | وَمَا يَعْلَمُ جُنُوْدَ رَبِّكَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَمَا هِيَ إِلَّا ذِكْرَى لِلْبَشَرِ |
74-56 | and not will they remember it, except if Allah (SWT) wishes, He is worthy to fear and worthy to forgive | وَمَا يَذْكُرُوْنَ إِلَّآ أَنْ يَشَآءُ اللهُ هُوَ أَهْلُ التَّقْوَى وَأَهْلُ الْمَغْفِرَةِ |
76-6 | a spring, the slaves of Allah (SWT) will drink from it, they will cause it to gush a gushing | عَيْنًا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ اللهِ يُفَجِّرُوْنَهَا تَفْجِيْرًا |
76-9 | “Only we feed you seeking Allah (SWT’s) pleasure, not we wish from you a reward nor thanks” | إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ اللهِ لَا نُرِيْدُ مِنْكُمْ جَزَآءً وَلَا شُكُوْرًا |
76-11 | so, Allah (SWT) will protect them from the evil of that day and cause them to receive radiance and pleasure | فَوَقَاهُمُ اللهُ شَرَّ ذَلِكَ اليَوْمِ وَلَقَّاهُمْ نَضْرَةً وَسُرُوْرًا |
76-30 | and not can you wish except if Allah (SWT) Wishes, truly Allah (SWT) is All-Knowing, All-Wise | وَمَا تَشَآءُوْنَ إِلَّآ أَنْ يَشَآءَ اللهُ إِنَّ اللهَ كَانَ عَلِيْمًا حَكِيْمًا |
79-25 | so, Allah (SWT) took him with an exemplary punishment for the last and the first | فَأَخَذَهُ اللهُ نَكَالَ الأَخِرَةِ وَالأُوْلَى |
81-29 | and you cannot will, but that Allah (SWT) wills, the Lord of the creation | وَمَا تَشَآءُوْنَ إِلَّآ أَنْ يَشَآءَ اللهُ رَبُّ العَالَمِيْنَ |
82-19 | the day when no soul shall have power over another for the decision that day will belong to Allah (SWT) | يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِّنَفْسٍ شَيْئًا وَالأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلَّهِ |
84-23 | but Allah (SWT) is All-Knowing of what they keep within themselves (hide) | وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوْعُوْنَ |
85-8 | and they resented them not except that they believed in Allah (SWT), the All-Mighty, the Praiseworthy | وَمَا نَقَمُوا مِنْهُمْ إِلَّآ أَنْ يُؤْمِنُوا بِاللهِ العَزِيْزِ الحَمِيْدِ |
85-9 | who belongs to Him the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and Allah (SWT) is over all things All-Witnessing | الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَاللهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيءٍ شَهِيْدٌ |
85-20 | but Allah (SWT) is Ever Encompassing over them | وَاللهُ مِن وَرَآئِهِمْ مُّحِيْطٌ |
87-7 | except what Allah (SWT) wills | إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ اللهُ |
88-24 | then Allah (SWT) will punish him with the greatest punishment | فَيُعَذِّبُهُ اللهُ العَذَابَ الأَكْبَرَ |
91-13 | The Messenger of Allah (SWT) Salih (AS) said to them “That is the shecamel of Allah (SWT) and her drink” | فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ نَاقَةَ اللهِ وَسُقْيَاهَا |
95-8 | Is not Allah (SWT) the most just of all judges? | أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ |
96-14 | Does he not know that Allah (SWT) sees | أَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ يَرَىٰ |
98-2 | A Messenger from Allah (SWT) reciting purified pages | رَسُولٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ يَتْلُو صُحُفًا مُطَهَّرَةً |
And not were they commanded except to worship Allah (SWT) sincere to Him the upright religion | وَمَا أُمِرُوا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ | |
98-5 | and to establish the prayer and to give the charity and that is the correct religion | حُنَفَاءَ وَيُقِيْمُوْا الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُوْا الزَّكَاةَ وَذَلِكَ دِيْنُ القَيِّمَةِ |
Their reward is with their Nurturer, eternal gardens, underneath which rivers flow. They will abide | جَزَاؤُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهَمْ جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِيْنَ | |
98-8 | therein forever, Allah (SWT) pleased with them and they with Him. That is for who feared his Nurturer | فِيْهَا أَبَدًا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُ |
104-6 | The kindled fire of Allah (SWT) | نَارُ اللَّهِ الْمُوقَدَةُ |
110-1 | When the help of Allah (SWT) and the conquest comes | إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ |
110-2 | And you see the people entering the religion of Allah (SWT) in crowds | وَرَأَيْتَ النَّاسَ يَدْخُلُونَ فِي دِينِ اللَّهِ أَفْوَاجًا |
112-1 | Say! He, Allah (SWT) is One | قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ |
