They said ‘Glory be to You (SWT), we have no knowledge except what You (SWT) have taught usقَالُوْا سُبْحَانَكَ لَا عِلْمَ لَنَا إِلَّا مَا عَلَّمْتَنَا
2-32Truly it is You (SWT), You (SWT) are the All-Knowing, the All-Wiseإِنَّكَ أَنْتَ العَلِيْمُ الحَكِيْمُ
and when We said to the angels “Prostrate before Adam” they prostrated except Satanوَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَآئِكَةِ اسْجُدُوْا لِأَدَمَ فَسَجَدُوْا إِلَّا إِبْلِيْسَ
2-34he refused and was proud and became of the disbelievers.أَبَى وَاسْتَكْبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ الكَافِرِيْنَ
and among them there are unlettered people who do not understand the bookوَمِنْهُمْ أُمِّيُّوْنَ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ الكِتَابَ
2-78except they trust upon false desires and that they but guessإِلَّآ أَمَانِيَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَظُنُّوْن
and they say “the fire shall not touch us but for numbered days”وَقَالُوْا لَنْ تَمَسَّنَا النَّارُ إِلَّا أَيَّامًا مَعْدُوْدَةً
Say “Have you taken a covenant from Allah SWT that Allah SWT will not break His Covenant?قُلْ أَتَّخَذْتُمْ عِنْدَ اللهِ عَهْدًا فَلَنْ يُخْلِفَ اللهُ عَهْدَهُ
2-80or you say of Allah (SWT) what you know not?”أَمْ تَقُوْلُوْنَ عَلَى اللهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ
and when We took the covenant of the children of Israel, worship none but Allah (SWT)وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيْثَاقَ بَنِي إِسْرَآئِيْلَ لَا تَعْبُدُوْنَ إِلَّا اللهَ
and be excellent to parents and to kindred and to orphans and to the needyوَبِالوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا وَذِيْ القُرْبَى وَاليَتَامَى وَالمَسَاكِيْنِ
and speak excellently to the people and establish the prayer and give the obligatory taxوَقُوْلُوْا لِلنَّاسِ حُسْنًا وَأَقِيْمُ الصَّلَاةَ وَءَاتُوْا الزَّكَاةَ
2-83then you turned away except a few among you and you were refusingثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيْلًا مِّنْكُمْ وَأَنْتُمْ مُعْرِضُوْنَ
they followed what the devils promoted during the reign of Solomonوَاتَّبَعُوْا مَا تَتْلُوْا الشَّيَاطِيْنُ عَلَى مُلْكِ سُلَيْمَانَ
Solomon did not disbelieve but the devils disbelievedوَمَا كَفَرَسُلَيْمَانُ وَلَاكِنَّ الشَّيَاطِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا
teaching men magic and what came down to the two Angels at Babylonيُعَلِّمُوْنَ النَّاسَ السِّحْرَ وَمَآ أُنْزِلَ عَلَى المَلَكَيْنِ بِبَابِلَ
Harut and Marut, they however, did not teach anyone till they saidهَارُوْتَ وَمَارُوْتَ وَمَا يُعَلِّمَانِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ حَتَّى يَقُوْلَ
“We are only a test so do not disbelieve”إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ فِتْنَةٌ فَلَا تَكْفُرْ
and from these two they learn to cause separation with it, between man and his wifeفَيَتَعَلَّمُوْنَ مِنْهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُوْنَ بِهِ بَيْنَ المَرْءِ وَزَوْجِهِ
but they do not harm anyone with it except by the permission of Allah (SWT)وَمَا هُمْ بِضَآرِّيْنَ بِهِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللهِ
and they learn what harms them, not what benefits themوَيَتَعَلَّمُوْنَ مَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلَا يَنْفَعُهُمْ
and surely, they knew that the purchasers of it would have no share in the hereafterوَلَقَدْ عَلِمُوْا لَمَنِ اشْتَرَاهُ مَا لَهُ فِي الأَخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلَاقٍ
2-102and wretched is that, for which they sold themselves, if only they knewوَلَبِئْسَ مَا شَرَوْا بِهِ أَنْفُسَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُوْا يَعْلَمُوْنَ
So, from wherever you go out turn your face towards the Sacred Mosqueوَمِنْ حَيْثُ خَرَجْتَ فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ المَسْجِدِ الحَرَامِ
and from wheresoever you are turn your face towards itوَحَيْثُ مَا كُنْتُمْ فَوَلُّوْا وُجُوْهَكُمْ شَطْرَهُ
so that people have no argument against you except who are wrong doers among themلِئَلَّا يَكُوْنَ لِلنَّاسِ عَلَيْكُمْ حُجَّةٌ إِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْا مِنْهُمْ
so, fear them not but fear Me so, I may complete My Favor on youفَلَا تَخْشَوْهُمْ وَاخْشَوْنِي وَلِأُتِمَّ نِعْمَتِي عَلَيْكُمْ
2-150so that you may be guidedوَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُوْنَ
except whom repent and be righteous and openly declare, then thoseإِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ تَابُوْا وَأَصْلَحُوْا وَبَيَّنُوْا فَأُوْلَآئِكَ
2-160I will accept repentance from them I am the One who accepts repentance, the Most Mercifulأَتُوْبُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَنَا التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيْمُ
2-163and your god is One God, there is no god except Him, Compassionate, Mercifulوَإِلَاهُكُمْ إِلَاهٌ وَاحِدٌ لَّآ إِلَاهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الرَّحْمَانُ الرَّحِيْمُ
Surely those who conceal what Allah SWT sent down of the Book and purchase with itإِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يَكْتُمُوْنَ مَآ أَنْزَلَ اللهُ مِنَ الكِتَابِ وَيَشْتَرُوْنَ بِهِ
a small price, not they consume into their bellies but fireثَمَنًا قَلِيْلً أُوْلَآئِكَ مَا يَأْكُلُوْنَ فِي بُطُوْنِهِمْ إِلَّا النَّارَ
Allah SWT will not speak to them on the day of Resurrection, nor purify themوَلَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللهُ يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ وَلَا يُزَكِّيْهِمْ
2-174and for them will be a painful punishmentوَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيْمٌ
The divorce is twice then to retain in a reasonable manner or to release with kindnessالطَّلَاقُ مَرَّتَانِ فَإِمْسَاكٌ بِمَعْرُوْفٍ أَوْ تَسْرِيْحٌ بِإِحْسَانٍ
and not lawful for you that you take anything from what you gave themوَلَا يَحِلُّ لَكُمْ أَنْ تَأْخُذُوا مِمَّآ ءَاتَيْتُمُوْهُنَّ شَيْئًا
except if both fear that not they both can keep the limits of Allah (SWT)إِلَّآ أَنْ يَخَافَآ أَلَّا يُقِيْمَا حُدُوْدَ اللهِ
and if you fear that not they both can keep the limits of Allah (SWT) then no sin on them bothفَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ أَلَّا يُقِيْمَا حُدُوْدَ اللهِ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَا
in what she ransoms concerning it, these are the limits of Allah SWT so, do not transgress themفِيْمَا اقْتَدَتْ بِهِ تِلْكَ حُدُوْدُ اللهِ فَلَا تَعْتَدُوْهَا
2-229and who transgresses the limits of Allah (SWT) then those, they are the wrongdoersوَمَن يَتَعَدَّ حُدُوْدَ اللهِ فَأُوْلَآئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُوْنَ
and no blame on you in what you hint with it of proposal of womanوَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيْمَا عَرَّضْتُمْ بِهِ مِنْ خِطْبَةِ النِّسَآءِ
or you conceal it in yourselves, Allah (SWT) knows that you will mention themأَوْ أَكْنَنْتُمْ فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ عَلِمَ اللهُ أَنَّكُمْ سَتَذْكُرُوْنَهُنَّ
but do not promise them secretly except to say a kind wordوَلَاكِن لَّا تُوَاعِدُوْهُنَّ سِرًّا إِلَّآ أَنْ تَقُوْلُوا قَوْلًا مَّعْرُوْفًا
and do not resolve the knot of marriage until the prescription reaches its termوَلَا تَعْزِمُوا عُقْدَةَ النِّكَاحِ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ الكِتَابُ أَجَلَهُ
and know that Allah (SWT) knows what is within yourselves so, beware of Himوَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ فَاحْذَرُوهُ
2-235and know that Allah (SWT) is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Forbearingوَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللهَ غَفُوْرٌ حَلِيْمٌ
and if you divorce them from before that you touch themوَإِنْ طَلَّقْتُمُوْهُنَّ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ تَمَسُّوْهُنَّ
and indeed, you have specified for them an obligation then half of what you specifiedوَقَدْ فَرَضْتُمْ لَهُنَّ فَرِيْضَةً فَنِصْفُ مَا فَرَضْتُمْ
unless that they forgo it or the one in whose hand is the knot of marriage forgoesإِلَّآ أَنْ يَعْفُوْنَ أَوْ يَعْفُوا الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ عُقْدَةُ النِّكَاحِ
and that you forgo is closer to righteousness and dont forget the bounty among youوَإِنْ تَعْفُوا أَقْرَبَ لِلتَّقْوَى وَلَا تَنْسَوُا الفَضْلَ بَيْنَكُمْ
2-237indeed, Allah (SWT) is All-Seeing of what you doإِنَّ اللهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ بَصِيْرٌ
Did not you see to the chiefs from the children of Israel from after Moosa (AS)?أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى المَلَإِ مِن بَنِي إِسْرَآئِيْلَ مِن بَعْدِ مُوْسَى
when they said to a prophet of theirs, “raise for us a king, we may fight in the way of Allah SWT”إِذْ قَالُوا لِنَبِيٍّ لَّهُمُ ابْعَثْ لَنَا مَلِكًا نُقَاتِلْ فِي سَبِيْلِ اللهِ
He said, “would you perhaps, if prescribed for you fighting, that not you fight?” they saidقَالَ هَلْ عَسَيْتُمْ إِنْ كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ القِتَالُ أَلَّا تُقَاتِلُوا قَالُوا
“and what for us that not we fight in the way of Allah (SWT) while indeed, we have been drivenوَمَا لَنَآ أَلَّا نُقَاتِلَ فِي سَبِيْلِ اللهِ وَقَدْ أُخْرِجْنَا
from our homes and our children?” Yet, when the fighting was prescribed upon themمِنْ دِيَارِنَا وَأَبْنَآئِنَا فَلَمَّا كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ القِتَالُ
2-246they turned away except a few among them and Allah (SWT) is All-Knowing of the wrongdoersتَوَلَّوا إِلَّا قَلِيْلًا مِّنْهُمْ وَاللهُ عَلِيْمٌ بِالظَّالِمِيْنَ
then when Talut set out with the forces he said, “indeed, Allah (SWT) will test you with a riverفَلَمَّا فَصَلَ طَالُوْتُ بِالجُنُوْدِ قَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ مُبْتَلِيْكُمْ بِنَهَرٍ
so, who drinks from it then he is not from me and who does not feed on it then indeed, he isفَمَنْ شَرِبَ مِنْهُ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي وَمَن لَّمْ يَطْعَمْهُ فَإِنَّهُ
from me except who scoups a scoup by his hand” then they drank from it except a fewمِنِّي إِلَّا مَنِ اغْتَرَفَ غُرْفَةً بِيَدِهِ فَشَرِبُوا مِنْهُ إِلَّا قَلِيْلًا
among them then when he crossed it he and those who believed with himمِّنْهُمْ فَلَمَّا جَاوَزَهُ هُوَ وَالَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا مَعَهُ
they said, “no strength for us today against Talut and his troops”قَالُوا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا اليَوْمَ بِجَالُوْتَ وَجُنُوْدِهِ
those who thought of their meeting with Allah SWT said,”how many a small party overcameقَالَ الَّذِيْنَ يَظُنُّوْنَ أَنَّهُم مُّلَاقُوا اللهِ كَم مِّنْ فِئَةٍ قَلِيْلَةٍ غَلَبَتْ
2-249a huge party by the permission of Allah SWT and Allah SWT is with the patient ones”فِئَةً كَثِيْرَةً بِإِذْنِ اللهِ وَاللهُ مَعَ الصَّابِرِيْنَ
Allah SWT no god except He, the Living, the Sustainer, not He takes slumber and not sleepاللهُ لَآ إِلَاهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الحَيُّ القَيُّوْمُ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ
belongs to Him whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earthلَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ
who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what between their handsمَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيْهِمْ
and what is behind them and not they know a thing of His knowledge except what He willsوَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلَا يُحِيْطُوْنَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَآءَ
His throne extends to the heavens and the earthوَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ
2-255and not tires Him the protecting of both and He is Most-High, All-Mighty (Most-Great)وَلَا يَئُوْدُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ العَلِيُّ العَظِيْمُ
