اِسْمٌالَّذِي and its plural and feminine forms occur approximately 1,442 times in the holy Quranاِسْمُ الْمَوْصُوْلِ
Guide us to the straight path the path of those upon whom You have bestowed Your Graceاهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيْمَ صِرَاطَ الَّذِيْنَ أَنْعَمَتَ عَلَيْهِمْ
1-7not of those who have earned Your Angerغَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوْبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّيْنَ
2-3Those who believe in the unseen and stand up for the prayer and who spend from what we have provided themالَّذِيْنَ يُوْمِنُوْنَ بِالْغَيْبِ وَ يُقِيْمُوْنَ الصَّلَوةَ وَ مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنْفِقُوْنَ
And those who believe in what has been sent down to you and what was sent down before youوَالَّذِيْنَ يُوْمِنُوْنَ بِمَآ أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ
2-4and about the hereafter, they are certainوَبِالْأَاخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوْقِنُوْنَ
2-6Truly those who disbelieve, it is the same to them whether you warn them or not, they will not believeإِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَ أَنْذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنْذِرْهُمْ لَا يُوْمِنُوْنَ
2-9They wish to deceive Allah (SWT) and those who believe but, they deceive only themselves, yet they perceive it notيُخَادِعُوْنَ اللهَ وَالَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوْا وَمَا يَخْدَعُوْنَ إِلَّا أَنْفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُوْنَ
And when they meet those who believe, they say “We believe” but when they are alone with their devils وَإِذَا لَقُوْا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوْا قَالُوْا ءَامَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلَوْا إِلَى شَيَاطِيْنِهِمْ
2-14they say “Truly we are with you, truly we were but mocking”قَالُوْا إِنَّا مَعَكُمْ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُسْتَهْزِءُوْنَ
2-16Those are who purchased error with guidance, so their commerce was profitless as they were not guidedأُوْلَائِكَ الَّذِيْنَ اشْتَرَوُا الضَّلَالَةَ بِالْهُدَى فَمَا رَبِحَتْ تِجَارَةُهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوْا مُهْتَدِيْنَ
Their likeness is as the likeness of one who kindled a fire, then, when it lighted all around himمَثَلُهُمْ كَمَثَلِ الَّذِي اسْتَوْقَدَ نَارًا فَلَمَّا أَضَاءَتْ مَا حَوْلَهُ
2-17Allah (SWT) took away their light and left them in darkness so, they could not seeذَهَبَ اللهُ بِنُوْرِهِمْ وَتَرَكَهُمْ فِي ظُلُمَاتٍ لَّا يُبْصِرُوْنَ
2-21O People, worship your Lord Who has created you and those before you so that you may become God consciousيَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اعْبُدُوْا رَبَّكُمْ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ وَالَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقٌوْنَ
Who has made the earth a resting place for you and the sky a canopy and sent down water from the skyالَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الأَرْضَ فِرَاشًا وَالسَّمَاءَ بِنَاءً وَأَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً
2-22and brought forth therewith fruit, as a provision for you then do not set up rivals unto Allah while you knowفَأَخْرَجَ بِهِ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ رِزْقًا لَّكُمْ فَلَا تَجْعَلُوْا لِلَّهِ أَنْدَادًا وَأَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ
But if you do not do it, and you will not be able to do it, then fear the fire whose fuel is men and stonesفَإِنْ لَّمْ تَفْعَلُوْا وَلَنْ تَفْعَلُوْا فَاتَّقُوْا النَّارَ الَّتِي وَقُوْدُهَا النَّاسُ وَالحِجَارَةُ
2-24 prepared for the disbelievers أُعِدَّتْ لِلْكَافِرِيْنَ
And give glad tidings to those who believe and the righteous that for them will be gardens under which rivers flowوَبَشِّرِ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوْا الصَّالِحَاتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ
Every time they will be provided with fruit therefrom for provision, they will say “This is like the provision of before”كُلَّمَا رُزِقُوْا مِنْهَا مِنْ ثَمَرَةٍ رِزْقًا قَالُوْا هَذَا الَّذِي رُزِقْنَا مِنْ قَبْلُ
2-25and they will be given things in resemblance, and for them purified spouses and they will abide therein forever  وَأُتُوْا بِهِ مُتَشَابِهًا وَلَهُمْ فِيْهَا أَزْوَاجٌ مُّطَهَّرَةٌ وَهُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُوْنَ
Verily Allah is not averse to set forth a parable of a gnat or what is more than it and as for those who believe إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَسْتَحْيِي أَنْ يَضْرِبَ مَثَلًا مَّا بَعُوْضَةً فَمَا فَوْقَهَا فَأَمَّا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوْا
they know that it is the Truth from their Lord but as for those who disbelieve they say “What did Allah (SWT) intend فَيَعْلَمُوْنَ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَّبِّهِمْ وَأَمَّا الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا فَيَقُوْلُوْنَ مَاذَا أَرَادَ اللهُ
2-26 by this parable?” By it He misleads many and by it He guides many and He does not mislead by it but the rebellious بِهَاذَا مَثَلًا يُضِلُّ بِهِ كَثِيْرًا وَيَهْدِي بِهِ كَثِيْرًا وَمَا يُضِلُّ بِهِ إِلَّا الْفَاسِقِيْنَ
Those who break Allah (SWT’s) covenant after ratifying it and sever what Allah (SWT) has ordered to be joinedالَّذِيْنَ يَنْقُضُوْنَ عَهْدَ اللهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مِيْثَاقِهِ وَيَقْطَعُوْنَ مَا أَمَرَ اللهُ بِهِ أَنْ يُوْصَلَ
2-27and do mischief on earth. Them, they are the losersوَيُفْسِدُوْنَ فِي الأَرْضِ أُوْلَائِكَ هُمُ الخَاسِرُوْنَ
He is Who created for you all that is on earth, then He rose over towards the heaven and made themهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ لَكُمْ مَّا فِي الأَرْضِ جَمِيْعًا ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَسَوَّاهُنَّ
2-29seven heavens, He is All Knowing over everythingسَبْعَ سَمَوَاتٍ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيْمٌ
However, those who disbelieve and belie Our Signs, those are the companions of the fire.وَالَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَكَذَّبُوْا بِئَايَاتِنَا أُوْلَائِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ
2-39They shall abide therein foreverهُمْ فِيْهَا خَالِدُوْنَ
O Children of Israel! Remember My Favor which I bestowed upon you andيَابَنِي إِسْرَائِيْلَ اذْكُرُوْا نِعْمَتِيَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ
2-40 fulfil My Covenant so that I fulfil your covenant and fear none but Meوَأَوْفُوْا بِعَهْدِي أُوْفِ بِعَهْدِكُمْ وَإِيَايَ فَارْهَبُوْنِ

89-8the like of which were not created in the landالَّتِي لَمْ يُخْلَقْ مِثْلُهَا فِي البِلَادِ
89-9and Thamud who hewed out rocks in the valleyوَثَمُوْدَ الَّذِيْنَ جَابُوْا الصَّخْرَ بِالْوَادِ
89-11who transgressed beyond bounds in the landsالَّذِينَ طَغَوا فِي البِلَادِ
90-17then he became of those who believed and recommended to patience and recommended to mercyثُمَّ كَانَ مِنْ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوْا وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالمَرْحَمَةِ
90-19but those who disbelieved in our signs they are the companions of the left handوَالَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا بِئَايَاتِنَا هُمْ أَصْحَابُ المَشْئَمَةِ
92-16the one who denied and turned awayالَّذِي كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّى
92-18the one who spends his wealth to purify himselfالَّذِي يُؤْتِي مَالَهُ يَتَزَكَّى
94-3Which weighed down your backالَّذِي أَنْقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ
95-6Except those who believe and do righteous deeds, for them is a reward without endإِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ
96-1Read! In the Name of your Lord Who has createdاِقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ
96-4Who has taught by the penالَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِ
96-9Have you seen the one who prevents?أَرَءَيْتَ الَّذِي يَنْهَى
Not were those who disbelieved from the people of the book and the polytheists to be abandonedلَمْ يَكُنِ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِيْنَ مُنْفَكِّيْنَ
98-1until the clear evidence comes to themحَتَّى تَأْتِيَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ
98-4and those who were given the book differed not until after clear evidence came to themوَمَا تَفَرَّقَ الَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُوْا الْكِتَابَ إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَائَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ
Truly those who disbelieve from the people of the book and the polytheists will be in the fire of hellإِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِيْنَ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ
98-6abiding therein forever. Those are the worst of creaturesخَالِدِيْنَ فِيهَا أُوْلَائِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ البَرِيَّةِ
98-7Truly those who believe and do righteous deeds, those are the best of creaturesإِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوْا الصَّالِحَاتِ أُلَائِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ الْبَرِيَّةِ
103-3Except those who believe and do righteous deeds and who enjoin one another to the truth and to patienceإِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوْا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا  بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ
104-2who gathered wealth and incessantly counted it الَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالًا وَّعَدَّدَهُ
104-7Which soars up to the heartsالَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الْأَفْئِدَةِ
106-4Who fed them against hunger and secured them against fearالَّذِي أَطْعَمَهُمْ مِنْ جُوْعٍ وَّآمَنَهُمْ مِنْ خَوْفٍ
107-1Have you seen the one who denies the judgement?أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ
107-2That is the one who repulses the orphanفَذَلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيْمَ
107-5That is the one who repulses the orphanالَّذِيْنَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُوْنَ
107-6who only want to be seenالَّذِيْنَ هُمْ يُرَاءُوْنَ
114-5Who whispers into the breasts of mankindالَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ
