| Solomon AS did not disbelieve but the devils disbelieved | وَمَا كَفَرَسُلَيْمَانُ وَلَاكِنَّ الشَّيَاطِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا | |
| teaching men magic and what came down to the two Angels at Babylon | يُعَلِّمُوْنَ النَّاسَ السِّحْرَ وَمَآ أُنْزِلَ عَلَى المَلَكَيْنِ بِبَابِلَ | |
| Harut and Marut, they however, did not teach anyone till they said, | هَارُوْتَ وَمَارُوْتَ وَمَا يُعَلِّمَانِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ حَتَّى يَقُوْلَ | |
| “We are only a test so do not disbelieve” | إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ فِتْنَةٌ فَلَا تَكْفُرْ | |
| and from these two they learn to cause separation with it, between man and his wife | فَيَتَعَلَّمُوْنَ مِنْهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُوْنَ بِهِ بَيْنَ المَرْءِ وَزَوْجِهِ | |
| but they do not harm anyone with it except by the permission of Allah (SWT) | وَمَا هُمْ بِضَآرِّيْنَ بِهِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللهِ | |
| and they learn what harms them, not what benefits them | وَيَتَعَلَّمُوْنَ مَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلَا يَنْفَعُهُمْ | |
| and surely, they knew that the purchasers of it would have no share in the hereafter | وَلَقَدْ عَلِمُوْا لَمَنِ اشْتَرَاهُ مَا لَهُ فِي الأَخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلَاقٍ | |
| 2-102 | and wretched is that, for which they sold themselves, if only they knew | وَلَبِئْسَ مَا شَرَوْا بِهِ أَنْفُسَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُوْا يَعْلَمُوْنَ |
| The Jews said “The Christians are on nothing” | وَقَالَتِ اليَهُوْدُ لَيْسَتِ النَّصَارَى عَلَى شَيْءٍ | |
| and the Christians said “The Jews are on nothing” | وَقَالَتِ النَّصَارَى لَيْسَتِ اليَهُوْدُ عَلَى شَيْءٍ | |
| while they (both) recite (follow) the book | وَهُمْ يَتْلُوْنَ الكِتَابَ | |
| likewise, those who do not know say similar to their sayings | كَذَلِكَ قَالَ الَّذِيْنَ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ مِثْلَ قَوْلِهِمْ | |
| 2-113 | Allah (SWT) will judge between them on the day of Judgement about that wherein they differ | فَاللهُ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوْا فِيْهِ يَخْتَلِفُوْنَ |
| Those to whom We gave the book recite (follow) it with it’s true recitation (following) | الَّذِيْنَ ءَاتَيْنَاهُمُ الكِتَابَ يَتْلُوْنَهُ حَقَّ تِلَاوَتِهِ | |
| Those, they believe in it | أُوْلَآئِكَ يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِهِ | |
| 2-121 | and those who disbelieve in it, they are the losers | وَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِهِ فَأُوْلَآئِكَ هُمُ الخَاسِرُوْنَ |
| “Our Lord, raise from among them a Messenger who will recite to them Your verses | رَبَّنَا وَابْعَثْ فِيْهِمْ رَسُوْلًا مِنْهُمْ يَتْلُوْا عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَاتِكَ | |
| and teach them the book and wisdom and purify them | وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الكِتَابَ وَالحِكْمَةَ وَيُزَكِّيْهِمْ | |
| 2-129 | Truly You, You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise | إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ العَزِيْزُ الحَكِيْمُ |
| As We have sent to you a Messenger from among you | كَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا فِيْكُمْ رَسُوْلًا مِّنْكُمْ | |
| reciting to you our verses and purifying you and teaching you the Book and the Wisdom | يَتْلُوْا عَلَيْكُمْ ءَايَاتِنَا وَيُزَكِّيْكُمْ وَيُعَلِّمُكُمْ الكِتَابَ وَالحِكْمَةَ | |
| 2-151 | and teaching you that which you did not know | وَيُعَلِّمُكُمْ مَّا لَمْ تَكُوْنُوْا تَعْلَمُوْنَ |
| these are the verses of Allah (SWT), We recite them to you in truth | تِلْكَ ءَايَاتُ اللهِ نَتْلُوْهَا عَلَيْكَ بِالحَقِّ | |
| 2-252 | and indeed, you are surely of the messengers | وَإِنَّكَ لَمِنَ المُرْسَلِيْنَ |
| 3-58 | That We recite it to you from the verses (signs) and the Wise reminder | ذَلِكَ نَتْلُوْهُ عَلَيْكَ مِنَ الأَيَاتِ وَالذِّكْرِ الحَكِيْمِ |
| All food was lawful for the children of Israel except what Israel made forbidden | كُلُّ الطَّعَامِ كَانَ حِلًّا لِّبَنِي إِسْرَآئِيْلَ إِلَّا مَا حَرَّمَ | |
| upon their self from before that the Taurat was revealed | إِسْرَآئِيْلُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ تُنَزَّلَ التَّوْرَاةُ | |
| 3-93 | say, “So bring the Taurat and recite it if you are truthful” | قُلْ فَأْتُوا بِالتَّوْرَاةِ فَاتْلُوهَآ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِيْنَ |
| and how you disbelieve while you, upon you is recited the verses of Allah (SWT) | وَكَيْفَ تَكْفُرُوْنَ وَأَنْتُمْ تُتْلَى عَلَيْكُمْ ءَايَاتُ اللهِ | |
| and in (among) you is, His messenger | وَفِيْكُمْ رَسُوْلُهُ | |
| 3-101 | and whoever holds firmly to Allah (SWT) then indeed, he is guided to a straight path | وَمَنْ يَعْتَصِمْ بِاللهِ فَقَدْ هُدِيَ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ |
| These are the verses of Allah (SWT), We recite them to you in truth | تِلْكَ ءَايَاتُ اللهِ نَتْلُوْهَا عَلَيْكَ بِالحَقِّ | |
| 3-108 | and Allah (SWT) wills (wishes-wants) no injustice to the worlds | وَمَا اللهُ يُرِيْدُ ظُلْمًا لِّلْعَالَمِيْنَ |
| They are not the same, from the people of the book, a community upstanding | لَيْسُوا سَوَآءٍ مِّنْ أَهْلِ الكِتَابِ أُمَّةٌ قَآئِمَةٌ | |
| 3-113 | they recite the verses of Allah (SWT) during the hours of the night, and they prostrate | يَتْلُوْنَ ءَايَاتِ اللهِ ءَانَآءَ الَّيْلِ وَهُمْ يَسْجُدُوْنَ |
| certainly Allah (SWT) bestowed a favor upon the believers | لَقَدْ مَنَّ اللهُ عَلَى المُؤْمِنِيْنَ | |
| when He raised among them a messenger from themselves | إِذْ بَعَثَ فِيْهِمِ رَسُوْلًا مِّنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ | |
| reciting to them His verses and purifying them | يَتْلُوا عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَاتِهِ وَيُزَكِّيْهِمْ | |
| and he teaches them the book and the wisdom | وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الكِتَابَ وَالحِكْمَةَ | |
| 3-164 | although they were from before certainly in clear error | وَإِنْ كَانُوا مِنْ قَبْلُ لَفِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِيْنٍ |
| and they ask you concerning the women, say, “Allah (SWT) explains about them | وَيَسْتَفْتُوْنَكَ فِي النِّسَآءِ قُلِ اللهُ يُفْتِيْكُمْ فِيْهِنَّ | |
| and what is recited to you in the book about the orphan girls | وَمَا يُتْلَى عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الكِتَابِ فِي يَتَامَى النِّسَآءِ | |
| who not you give them what is ordained for them, while you desire to marry them | الَّتِي لَا تُؤْتُوْنَهُنَّ مَا كُتِبَ لَهُنَّ وَتَرْغَبُوْنَ أَنْ تَنْكِحُوْهُنَّ | |
| and the weak of the children and to stand for orphans with justice | وَالمُسْتَضْعَفِيْنَ مِنَ الوِلْدَانِ وَأَنْ تَقُوْمُوا لِلْيَتَامَى بِالقِسيْطِ | |
| 4-127 | and whatever you do from good, then indeed Allah (SWT) is about it All-Knowing | وَمَا تَفْعَلُوا مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَإِنَّ اللهَ كَانَ بِهِ عَلِيْمًا |
| O you who believe! Fulfil the contracts | يَآ أَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا أَوْفُوا بِالعُقُودِ | |
| Lawful for you is the cattle (four-legged grazing livestock) except what is recited to you | أُحِلَّتْ لَكُمْ بَهِيْمَةُ الأَنْعَامِ إِلَّا مَا يُتْلَى عَلَيْكُمْ | |
| 5-1 | Not being permitted is hunting while you are in Ihram, Truly Allah (SWT) decrees (judges) what He wishes | غَيْرَ مُحِلِّي الصَّيْدِ وَأَنْتُمْ حُرُمٌ إِنَّ اللهَ يَحْكُمُ مَا يُرِيْدُ |
| and recite to them the story (news) of the two sons of Adam (AS) in truth | وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ ابْنَيْ ءَادَمَ بِالحَقِّ | |
| when both offered a sacrifice, so it was accepted from one of them and not accepted from the other | إِذْ قَرَّبَا قُرْبَانًا فَتُقُبِّلَ مِنْ أَحَدِهِمَا وَلَمْ يُتَقَبَّلْ مِنَ الآخَرِ | |
| 5-27 | he said, “surely, I will certainly kill you” he said, “only Allah (SWT) accepts from the God-Conscious” | قَالَ لَأَقْتُلَنَّكَ قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَتَقَبَّلُ اللهُ مِنَ المُتَّقِيْنَ |
| Say, “come, I will recite what your Lord prohibited to you, to not associate with Him anything | قُلْ تَعَالُوْا أَتْلُ مَا حَرَّمَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ أَلَّا تُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا | |
| and with the parents, be excellent and do not kill your children fearing poverty | وَبِالوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا أَوْلَادَكُم مِّنْ إِمْلَاقٍ | |
| We provide for you and for them, and don’t go near to immoralities | نَحْنُ نَرْزُقُكُمْ وَإِيَّاهُمْ وَلَا تَقْرَبُوا الفَوَاحِشَ | |
| what is apparent of them and what is concealed and don’t kill the soul which Allah (SWT) prohibited | مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللهُ | |
| 6-151 | except by right that He enjoined on you by it so that you may reason” | إِلَّا بِالحَقِّ ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُمْ بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُوْنَ |
| and recite to them the news (story) of one who We gave Our signs | وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ الَّذِي ءَاتَيْنَاهُ ءَايَاتِنَا | |
| 7-175 | but he detached from them, so Satan followed him, so he became of those gone astray | فَانْسَلَخَ مِنْهَا فَأَتْبَعَهُ الشَّيْطَانُ فَكَانَ مِنَ الغَاوِيْنَ |
| Only believers are those who when Allah (SWT) is mentioned, their hearts feel fear | إِنَّمَا المُؤْمِنُوْنَ الَّذِيْنَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ اللهُ وَجِلَتْ قُلُوْبُهُمْ | |
| and when His verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith | وَإِذَا تُلِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَاتُهُ زَادَتْهُمْ إِيْمَانًا | |
| 8-2 | and on their Lord, they trust | وَعَلَى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُوْنَ |
| and when Our signs are recited to them, they say “indeed, we have heard | وَإِذَ تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَاتُنَا قَالُوا قَدْ سَمِعْنَا | |
| 8-31 | if we wish we surely could say like this, this is not but tales of the ancient (past-former)” | لَوْ نَشَآءُ لَقُلْنَا مِثْلَ هَذَآ إِنْ هَذَآ إِلَّا أَسَاطِيْرُ الأَوَّلِيْنَ |
| and when Our signs are recited to them as clear proofs, those who do not | وَإِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ قَالَ الَّذِيْنَ لَا | |
| hope for the meeting with Us say “Bring us a Quran other than this or change it” | يَرْجُوْنَ لِقَآءَنَا ائْتِ بِقُرْءَانٍ غَيْرِ هَذَآ أَوْ بَدِّلْهُ | |
| say, “not it is for me that I change it of my own accord | قُلْ مَا يَكُوْنُ لِي أَنْ أُبَدِّلَهُ مِنْ تِلْقَآئِ نَفْسِي | |
| not I follow except what is revealed to me | إِنْ أَتَّبِعُ إِلَّا مَا يُوْحَى إِلَيَّ | |
| 10-15 | indeed, I fear if I were to disobey my Lord, a punishment of a great day” | إِنِّي أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيْمٍ |
| Say, “If Allah (SWT) willed not I would have recited it to you and not He would have made it known to you | قُل لَّوْ شَآءَ اللهُ مَا تَلَوْتُهُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَا أَدْرَاكُمْ بِهِ | |
| 10-16 | verily, I have stayed among you a lifetime before it, then will not you use reason?” | فَقَدْ لَبِثْتُ فِيْكُمْ عُمُرًا مِّنْ قَبْلِهِ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُوْنَ |
| and not you are in any situation and not you recite of it from the Quran | وَمَا تَكُوْنُ فِي شَأْنٍ وَمَا تَتْلُوا مِنْهُ مِنْ قُرْءَانٍ | |
| and not you do any deed except We are over you witness | وَلَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ مِنْ عَمَلٍ إِلَّا كُنَّا عَلَيْكُمْ شُهُوْدًا | |
| when you are engaged in it and not escapes from your Lord of the weight of an atom | إِذْ تُفِيْضُوْنَ فِيهِ وَمَا يَعْزُبُ عَن رَّبِّكَ مِن مِّثْقَالِ ذَرَّةٍ | |
| in the earth and not in the heavens | فِي الأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَآءِ | |
| 10-61 | and not smaller than that and not greater but is in a clear record | وَلَا أَصْغَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ وَلَا أَكْبَرَ إِلَّا فِيْ كِتَابٍ مُّبِيْنٍ |
| and recite to them the news of Nuh (AS) when he said to his people, O my people! | وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ نُوْحٍ إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ يَا قَوْمِ | |
| If is hard on you my stay and my reminding of the signs of Allah (SWT) | إِنْ كَانَ كَبُرَ عَلَيْكُم مَّقَامِي وَتَذْكِيْرِي بِئَايَاتِ اللهِ | |
| then upon Allah (SWT) I put my trust so, you all put together your plan and your partners | فَعَلَى اللهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ فَأَجْمِعُوا أَمْرَكُمْ وَشُرَكَآءَكُمْ | |
| 10-71 | then let not be in your plan for you any doubt then carry it out upon me and do not give me respite | ثُمَّ لَا يَكُنْ أَمْرُكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ غُمَّةً ثُمَّ اقْضُوا إِلَيَّ وَلَا تُنْظِرُوْنَ |
| Then is he who is on a clear proof from his Lord and he recites it | أَفَمَنْ كَانَ عَلَى بَيِّنَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّهِ وَيَتْلُوْهُ شَاهِدٌ مِّنْهُ وَمِنْ | |
| a witness from Him and from before it a book of Musa (AS) as a guide and mercy? | شَاهِدٌ مِّنْهُ وَمِنْ قَبْلِهِ كِتَابُ مُوْسَى إِمَامًا وَرَحْمَةً | |
| those believe in it and who disbelieves in it among the sects | أُوْلَآئِكَ يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِهِ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِهِ مِنَ الأَحْزَابِ | |
| then the fire is his promised place so, do not be in doubt about it | فَالنَّارُ مَوْعِدُهُ فَلَا تَكُ فِي مِرْيَةٍ مِّنْهُ | |
| truly, it is the truth from your Lord | إِنَّهُ الحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ | |
| 11-17 | but most of the people do not believe | وَلَاكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ |
| 13-30 | ||
| say, “believe in it or do not believe, verily those who were given knowledge before it | قُلْ ءَامِنُوا بِهِ أَوْ لَا تُؤْمِنُوا إِنَّ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا العِلْمَ مِن قَبْلِهِ | |
| 17-107 | when it is recited to them, they fall on their faces in prostration | إِذَا يُتْلَى عَلَيْهِم يَخِرُّونَ لِلْأَذْقَانِ سُجَّدًا |

| and Israel and from whom We guided, and We chose | وَإِسْرَآئِيْلَ وَمِمَّن هَدَيْنَا وَاجْتَبَيْنَآ | |
