Then, after that your hearts were hardened and became as stones or even worse in hardness | ثُمَّ قَسَتْ قُلُوْبُكُمْ مِّنْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ فَهِيَ كَالحِجَارَةِ أَوْ أَشَدُّ قَسْوَةً | |
and truly there are stones out of which indeed rivers gush forth | وَإِنَّ مِنَ الحِجَارَةِ لَمَا يَتَفَجَّرُ مِنْهُ الأَنْهَارُ | |
and surely of them there are which split asunder so that water flows from them | وَإِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا يَشَّقَّقُ فَيَخْرُجُ مِنْهُ المَآءُ | |
and surely of them there are which indeed fall down for fear of Allah (SWT) | وَإِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا يَهْبِطُ مِنْ خَشْيَةِ اللهِ | |
2-74 | and Allah (SWT) is not unaware of what you do | وَمَا اللهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُوْنَ |
So, from wherever you go out turn your face towards the Sacred Mosque | وَمِنْ حَيْثُ خَرَجْتَ فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ المَسْجِدِ الحَرَامِ | |
and from wheresoever you are turn your face towards it so that people have no argument against you | وَحَيْثُ مَا كُنْتُمْ فَوَلُّوْا وُجُوْهَكُمْ شَطْرَهُ لِئَلَّا يَكُوْنَ لِلنَّاسِ عَلَيْكُمْ حُجَّةٌ | |
except who are wrong doers among them so, fear them not but fear Me | إِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْا مِنْهُمْ فَلَا تَخْشَوْهُمْ وَاخْشَوْنِي | |
2-150 | so I may complete My Favor on you so that you may be guided | وَلِأُتِمَّ نِعْمَتِي عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُوْنَ |
those, the people said to them, “Verily the people certainly gathered against you, so fear them” | الَّذِيْنَ قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّاسُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُوا لَكُمْ فَاخْشَوْهُمْ | |
3-173 | but it increased them in faith, and they said, “Sufficient for us is Allah (SWT) and best to entrust (put in charge)” | فَزَادَهُمْ إِيْمَانًا وَقَالُوا حَسْبُنَا اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الوَكِيْلُ |
and let those who if they left from behind them weak offspring fear | وَلْيَخْشَ الَّذِيْنَ لَوْ تَرَكُوا مِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّةً ضِعَافًا | |
4-9 | they would have feared about them so let them fear Allah (SWT) and let them say right words | خَافُوا عَلَيْهِمْ فَلْيَتَّقُوا اللهَ وَلْيَقُوْلُوا قَوْلًا سَدِيْدًا |
and who among you is not able to afford to marry the chaste, believing women | وَمَنْ لَّمْ يَسْتَطِعْ مِنْكُمْ طَوْلًا أَنْ يَنْكِحَ المُحْصَنَاتِ المُؤْمِنَاتِ | |
then from what your right hand possesses from your believing slave girls | فَمِن مَّا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ مِّنْ فَتَيَاتِكُمُ المُؤْمِنَاتِ | |
and Allah (SWT) knows best about your faith some of you from others | وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ بِإِيْمَانِكُمْ بَعْضُكُمْ مِّنْ بَعْضٍ | |
then marry them with the permission of their family and give them their bridal due in a fair manner | فَانْكِحُوهُنَّ بِإِذْنِ أَهْلِهِنَّ وَءَاتُوْهُنَّ أُجُوْرَهُنَّ بِالمَعْرُوْفِ | |
chaste, not one who is immoral and not one who takes secret lovers | مُحْصَنَاتٍ غَيْرَ مُسَافِحَاتٍ وَلَا مُتَّخِذَاتِ أَخْدَانٍ | |
then when they are married, and they commit immorality then for them half what is on the chaste women of the punishment | فَإِذَآ أُحْصِنَّ فَإِنْ أَتَيْنَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ فَعَلَيْهِنَّ نِصْفُ مَا عَلَى المُحْصَنَاتِ مِنَ العَذَابِ | |
4-25 | that is for who fears to be distressed among you and that you be patient is better for you, Allah SWT is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful | ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ العَنَتَ مِنْكُمْ وَأَنْ تَصْبِرُوا خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ وَاللهُ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ |
Did you not see to those, it was said to them, “Restrain your hands and establish the prayer and give the obligatory tax?” | أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِيْنَ قِيْلَ لَهُمْ كُفُّوا أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَقِيْمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَءَاتُوا الزَّكَاةَ | |
then when the fighting was ordained on them behold a group among them fear men like the fear of Allah SWT or greater, fear | فَلَمَّا كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ القِتَالُ إِذَا فَرِيْقٌ مِّنْهُمْ يَخْشَوْنَ النَّاسَ كَخَشْيَةِ اللهِ أَوْ أَشَدَّ خَشْيَةً | |
and they said, “Our Lord! Why You write (prescribe) for us, fighting? why not You delay for us to a near term” | وَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا لِمَ كَتَبْتَ عَلَيْنَا القِتَالَ لَوْلَآ أَخَّرْتَنَآ إِلَى أَجَلٍ قَرِيْبٍ | |
4-77 | Say, “Enjoyment of the world is little and the hereafter is better for who fears and not you will be wronged a hair on a date seed” | قُلْ مَتَاعُ الدُّنْيَا قَلِيْلٌ وَالآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لِّمَنِ اتَّقَى وَلَا تُظْلَمُوْنَ فَتِيْلً |
Forbidden to you, the dead and blood and flesh of the swine and what was dedicated to other than Allah (SWT) | حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ المَيْتَةُ وَالدَّمُ وَلَحْمُ الخِنْزِيْرِ وَمَآ أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللهِ | |
and one strangled to death and one hit to death and one falling to death and one gored by horns | بِهِ وَالمُنْخَنِقَةُ وَالمَوْقُوْذَةُ وَالمُتَرَدِّيَةُ وَالنَّطِيْحَةُ | |
and what the wild animal ate except what you slaughtered and what is sacrificed on the altars | وَمَآ أَكَلَ السَّبُحُ إِلَّا مَا ذَكَّيْتُمْ وَمَا ذُبِحَ عَلَى النُّصُبِ | |
and that you seek division by divining arrows, that is defiant disobedience | وَأَنْ تَسْتَقْسِمُوا بِالأَزْلَامِ ذَلِكُمْ فِسْقٌ | |
This day those who disbelieved of your religion despaired so, don’t fear them but fear Me | اليَوْمَ يَئِسَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ دِيْنِكُمْ فَلَا تَخْشَوْهُمْ وَاخْشَوْنِ | |
This day I perfected your religion and I have completed upon you My favor | اليَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِيْنَكُمْ وَأَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي | |
and I am pleased for you, Islam as a religion but whoever is forced by hunger | وَرَضِيْتُ لَكُمُ الإِسْلَامَ دِيْنًا فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ فِي مُخْمَصَةٍ | |
5-3 | not inclining to sin then truly Allah (SWT) is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful | غَيْرَ مُتَجَانِفٍ لِّإِثْمٍ فَإِنَّ اللهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ |
Verily We did send down the Torah, in it is guidance and light | إِنَّآ أَنْزَلْنَا التَّوْرَاةَ فِيهَا هُدًى وَنُورٌ | |
The prophets who had submitted judged by it, for the Jews | يَحْكُمُ بِهَا النَّبِيُّونَ الَّذِيْنَ أَسْلَمُوا لِلَّذِينَ هَادُوا | |
The rabbi’s and the scholars, upon whom the Book of Allah (SWT) was entrusted | وَالرَّبَّانِيُّونَ وَالأَحْبَارُ بِمَا اسْتُحْفِظُوا مِن كِتَابَ اللهِ وَكَانُوا | |
were witnesses to it so, do not fear the people but fear Me | عَلَيهِ شُهَدَآءَ فَلَا تَخْشَوُا النَّاسَ وَاخْشَونِ | |
and do not sell my signs for a small price | وَلَا تَشْتَرُوا بِئَايَاتِي ثَمَنًا قَلِيْلً | |
5-44 | and who does not judge by what Allah (SWT) sent down then those, they are disbelievers | وَمَنْ لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَآ أَنْزَلَ اللهُ فَأُوْلَآئِكَ هُمُ الكَافِرُوْنَ |
So, you see those in whose hearts is a disease, hastening to them, saying | فَتَرَى الَّذِيْنَ فِي قُلُوْبِهِمْ مَرَضٌ يُسَارِعُوْنَ فِيْهِمْ يَقُوْلُوْنَ | |
We fear that a misfortune may strike us but perhaps Allah (SWT) will bring a victory or a decision from Himself | نَخْشَى أَنْ تُصِيْبَنَا دَآئِرَةٌ فَعَسَى اللهُ أَنْ يَاْتِيَ بِالفَتْحِ أَوْ أَمْرٍ مِّنْ عِنْدِهِ | |
5-52 | and they will become regretful over what they concealed within themselves | فَيُصْبِحُوا عَلَى مَآ أَسَرُّوا فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ نَادِمِيْنَ |
will you not fight a people who broke their oaths and are determined to drive out the messenger | أَلَا تُقَاتِلُوْنَ قَوْمًا نَّكَثُوا أَيْمَانَهُمْ وَهَمُّوا بِإِخْرَاجِ الرَّسُوْلِ | |
and they initiate against you the first time? do you fear them? while Allah (SWT) has more right that you should fear Him | وَهُمْ بَدَءُوْكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ أَتَخْشَوْنَهُمْ فَاللهُ أَحَقُّ أَنْ تَخْشَوْهُ | |
9-13 | if you are believers | إِنْ كُنْتُم مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ |
only they maintain the mosques of Allah (SWT) who believe in Allah (SWT) and the last day | إِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَ اللهِ مَنْ ءَامَنَ بِاللهِ وَاليَوْمِ الآخِرِ | |
and establish the prayer and pay the obligatory tax and did not fear but Allah (SWT) | وَأَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ وَءَاتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَلَمْ يَخْشَ إِلَّا اللهَ | |
9-18 | then perhaps, those, that they are from the guided ones | فَعَسَى أُوْلَآئِكَ أَنْ يَكُوْنُوا مِنَ المُهْتَدِيْنَ |
Say, “If were your parents and your children and your siblings and your spouses | قُلْ إِنْ كَانَ ءَابَآؤُكُمْ وَأَبْنَآؤُكُمْ وَإِخْوَانُكُمْ وَأَزْوَاجُكُمْ | |
and your relatives and the wealth you have acquired and the commerce you fear a decline in it | وَعَشِيْرَتُكُمْ وَأَمْوَالٌ اقْتَرَفْتُمُوْهَا وَتِجَارَةٌ تَخْشَوْنَ كَسَادَهَا | |
and the dwellings you delight in it are more beloved to you than Allah (SWT) and His messenger | وَمَسَاكِنُ تَرْضَوْنَهَآ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْكُم مِّنَ اللهِ وَرَسُوْلِهِ | |
and striving in His path then wait until Allah (SWT) brings His command | وَجِهَادٍ فِي سَبِيْلِهِ فَتَرَبَّصُوا حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ اللهُ بِأَمْرِهِ | |
9-24 | and Allah (SWT) does not guide the defiantly disobedient people | وَاللهُ لَا يَهْدِي القَوْمِ الفَاسِقِيْنَ |

Their reward is with their Lord, eternal gardens, underneath which rivers flow. They will abide | جَزَاؤُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهَمْ جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِيْنَ فِيْهَا أَبَدًا | |
98-8 | therein forever, Allah pleased with them and they with Him. That is for who feared his Lord | رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوْا عَنْهُ ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُ |
