| Those are they who purchased the life of this world at the price of the hereafter | أُوْلَآئِكَ الَّذِيْنَ اشْتَرَوُا الحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا بِالأَخِرَةِ | |
| 2-86 | So, their torment shall not be lightened, nor shall they be helped | فَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ العَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُوْنَ |
| 2-162 | Abiding eternally therein, the punishment will not be lightened on them, and they will not be reprieved | خَالِدِيْنَ فِيْهَا لَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ العَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْظَرُوْنَ |
| O you who believe! prescribed for you is the legal retribution | يَآ أَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوْا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ القِصَاصُ | |
| for murder, the free man for the free man and the slave for the slave and the female for the female | فِي القَتْلَى الْحُرُّ بِالحُرِّ وَالعَبْدُ بِالعَبْدِ وَالأُنْثَى بِالأُنْثَى | |
| but whoever pardoned for it from his brother anything | فَمَنْ عُفِيَ لَهُ مِنْ أَخِيْهِ شَيْءٌ | |
| then follow up with suitable payment to him with kindness | فَاتِّبَاعٌ بِالمَعْرُوْفِ وَأَدَآءُ إِلَيْهِ بِإِحْسَانٍ | |
| That is a concession and a mercy from your Lord | ذَلِكَ تَخْفِيْفٌ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ | |
| 2-178 | then who transgresses after that, then for him is a painful punishment | فَمَنِ اعْتَدَى بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَلَهُ عَذَابٌ أَلِيْمٌ |
| 3-88 | they will abide forever in it, not will be lightened for them, the punishment and not will they be given respite | خَالِدِيْنَ فِيهَا لَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ العَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْظَرُوْنَ |
| 4-28 | Allah (SWT) wishes to lighten for you as man was created weak | يُرِيْدُ اللهُ أَنْ يُخَفِّفَ عَنْكُمْ وَخُلِقَ الإِنْسَانُ ضَعِيْفًا |
| and whose scales are light then those are who lost themselves | وَمَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِيْنُهُ فَأُوْلَآئِكَ الَّذِيْنَ خَسِرُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ | |
| 7-9 | because they were with our verses, unjust (wrong) | بِمَا كَانُوا بِئَايَاتِنَا يَظْلِمُوْنَ |
| He is who created you from a single soul | هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ | |
| and made from it its mate (spouse) to live with her | وَجَعَلَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا لِيَسْكُنَ إِلَيْهَا | |
| then when he covers her, she carries a light burden and continues with it | فَلَمَّا تَغَشَّاهَا حَمَلَتْ حَمْلًا خَفِيْفًا فَمَرَّتْ بِهِ | |
| but when she grows heavy, they both invoke Allah (SWT), their Lord, “surely, if you give us a righteous (child) | فَلَمَّآ أَثْقَلَتْ دَّعَوَا اللهَ رَبَّهُمَا لَئِنْ ءَاتَيْنَا صَالِحًا | |
| 7-189 | certainly, we will be from the grateful (thankful)” | لَّنَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِيْنَ |
| now Allah (SWT) lightened for you, and He knows that among you there is weakness | الْئَانَ خَفَّفَ اللهُ عَنْكُمْ وَعَلِمَ أَنَّ فِيْكُمْ ضَعْفًا | |
| so, if there be a hundred steadfast among you, they will overcome two hundred | فَإِنْ يَكُن مِّنْكُم مِّاْئَةٌ صَابِرَةٌ يَغْلِبُوا مِاْئَتَيْنِ | |
| and if there be a thousand among you, they will overcome two thousand by the permission of Allah (SWT) | وَإِن يَكُن مِّنْكُمْ أَلْفٌ يَغْلِبُوا أَلْفَيْنِ بِإِذْنِ اللهِ | |
| 8-66 | and Allah (SWT) is with the patient (steadfast) | وَاللهُ مَعَ الصَّابِرِيْنَ |
| Go forth light or heavy and strive with your wealth and your lives | انْفِرُوا خِفَافًا وَثِقَالًا وَجَاهِدُوا بِأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنْفُسِكُمْ | |
| 9-41 | in the way of Allah (SWT), that is better for you, if you know | فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللهِ ذَلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ |
