2-83 | the prayer and give the obligatory tax, then you turned away, except a few among you, and you were refusing | الصَّلَاةَ وَءَاتُوْا الزَّكَاةَ ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيْلًا مِّنْكُمْ وَأَنْتُمْ مُعْرِضُوْنَ |
Neither those who disbelieve from the people of the book, nor the polytheists wish that any good be sent down | مَّا يَوَدُّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ أَهْلِ الكِتَابِ وَلَا المُشْرِكِيْنَ أَنْ يُنَزَّلَ | |
to you from your Lord but Allah (SWT) chooses for His Mercy who He wills | عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ مِّنْ رَّبِّكُمْ وَاللهُ يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِهِ مَنْ يَشَآءُ | |
2-105 | and Allah (SWT) is the Possessor of Great Bounty | وَاللهُ ذُو الفَضْلِ العَظِيْمِ |
Piety is not that you turn your faces towards east and west but piety | لَيْسَ البِرَّ أَنْ تُوَلُّوْا وُجُوْهَكُمْ قِبَلَ المَشْرِقِ وَالمَغْرِبِ وَلَاكِنَّ البِرَّ | |
is one who believes in Allah (SWT) and the Last Day and the Angels and the Book and the Prophets | مَنْ ءَامَنَ بِاللهِ وَاليَوْمِ الأَخِرِ وَالمَلَآئِكَةِ وَالكِتَابِ وَالنَّبِيِّنَ | |
and the Book and the Prophets and gives his wealth in spite of his love of it to the near of kin and the orphans | وَءَاتِي المَالَ عَلَى حُبِّهِ ذَوِى القُرْبَى وَاليَتَامَى | |
and the needy and the wayfarer and to one’s who asks and in freeing the necks and who establish the prayer | وَالمَسَاكِيْنَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيْلِ وَالسَّآئِلِيْنَ وَفِي الرِّقَابِ وَأَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ | |
and give the tax and who fulfil their covenant when they make it and the ones who are patient in suffering and | وَءَاتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَالمُوْفُوْنَ بِعَهْدِهِمْ إِذَا عَاهَدُوْا وَالصَّابِرِيْنَ فِي | |
suffering and hardship and times of stress | البَأْسَآءِ وَالضَّرَّآءِ وَحِيْنَ البَأْسِ | |
2-177 | Those are who are true and those, they are Pious | أُوْلَآئِكَ الَّذِيْنَ صَدَقُوْا وَأُوْلَآئِكَ هُمُ المُتَّقُوْنَ |
Did you not see to those, they come forth from their homes, while they in thousands in fear of death? | أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِيْنَ خَرَجُوا مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ وَهُمْ أُلُوْفٌ حَذَرَ المَوْتِ | |
then Allah (SWT) said to them, “Die” then He gave them life indeed, Allah (SWT) certainly possesses bounty | فَقَالَ لَهُمُ اللهُ مُوْتُوا ثُمَّ أَحْيَاهُمْ إِنَّ اللهَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ | |
2-243 | for mankind but most of the people are not grateful | عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلَاكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَشْكُرُوْنَ |
So, they defeated them by the permission of Allah (SWT) and Dawood (AS) killed Jalut and Allah (SWT) gave him | فَهَزَمُوْهُمْ بِإِذْنِ اللهِ وَقَتَلَ دَاوُوْدُ جَالُوْتَ وَءَاتَاهُ اللهُ | |
the kingdom and the wisdom, and He taught him from what He willed | المُلْكَ وَالحِكْمَةَ وَعَلَّمَهُ مِمَّا يَشَآءُ | |
and had Allah (SWT) not checked the people, some of them by others certainly the earth would have been ruined | وَلَوْلَا دَفْعُ اللهِ النَّاسَ بَعْضَهُمْ بِبَعْضٍ لَفَسَدَتِ الأَرْضُ | |
2-251 | but Allah (SWT) is the possessor of bounty to the worlds | وَلَاكِنَّ اللهَ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى العَالَمِيْنَ |
and if he be possessing difficulty (hardship) then respite (postponement) until ease | وَإِنْ كَانَ ذُو عُسْرَةٍ فَنَظِرَةٌ إِلَى مَيْسَرَةٍ | |
2-280 | and if you remit as charity, it is better for you if you know | وَأَنْ تَصَدَّقُوا خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ |
from before, a guidance for the people and He sent down the criterion | مِنْ قَبْلُ هُدًى لِلنَّاسِ وَأَنْزَلَ الفُرْقَانَ | |
truly those who disbelieve in the signs of Allah (SWT), for them is a severe punishment | إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا بِئَايَاتِ اللهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيْدٌ | |
3-4 | and Allah (SWT) is All-Mighty, All-Capable of retribution | وَاللهُ عَزِيْزٌ ذُو انْتِقَامٍ |
3-74 | He chooses for His mercy who He wishes, and Allah (SWT) is the Possessor of Great Bounty | يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِهِ مَنْ يَشَآءُ وَاللهُ ذُو الفَضْلِ العَظِيْمِ |
Lo! you are those, you love them and not they love you and you believe in the scripture, all of it | هَآ أَنْتُمْ أُوْلَآءِ تُحِبُّوْنَهُمْ وَلَا يُحِبُّوْنَكُمْ وَتُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِالكِتَابِ كُلِّهِ | |
and when they meet you, they say, “We believe” and when they are alone they bite the fingertips out of rage at you | وَإِذَا لَقُوْكُمْ قَالُوا ءَامَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلَوا عَضُّوا عَلَيْكُمُ الأَنَامِلَ مِنَ الغَيْظِ | |
