| 2-104 | and for the disbelievers there is a painful torment | وَلِلْكَافِرِيْنَ عَذَابٌ أَلِيْمٌ |
| from those who are jews, they distort the words from their places | مِّنَ الَّذِيْنَ هَادُوا يُحَرِّفُوْنَ الكَلِمَ عَن مَّوَاضِعِهِ | |
| and they say, “we hear and we disobey” and “hear not to be heard | وَيَقُوْلُوْنَ سَمِعْنَا وَعَصَيْنَا وَاسْمَعْ غَيْرَ مُسْمَعٍ | |
| and “listen to us” twisting their tongues and defaming in the religion | وَرَاعِنَا لَيًّا بِأَلْسِنَتِهِمْ وَطَعْنًا فِي الدِّيْنِ | |
| and if only they had said, “We hear and obey” and “hear and look at us” | وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا وَاسْمَعْ وَانْظُرْنَا | |
| certainly it would have been better for them and more upright | لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ وَأَقْوَمَ | |
| but Allah (SWT) cursed them for their disbelieve | وَلَاكِن لَّعَنَهُمُ اللهُ بِكُفْرِهِمْ | |
| 4-46 | so, not they believe except a few | فَلَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ إِلَّا قَلِيْلًا |

| then We caused Our Messengers to follow in their footsteps | ثُمَّ قَفَّيْنَا عَلَى آثَارِهِمْ بِرُسُلِنَا | |
| and We caused Isa son of Mariam to follow and We gave him the Gospel | وَقَفَّيْنَا بِعِيْسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ وَءَاتَيْنَاهُ الْإِنْجِيْلَ | |
| and We placed in the heart of those who followed him compassion and mercy | وَجَعَلْنَا فِي قُلُوْبِ الَّذِيْنَ اتَّبَعُوهُ رَافَةً وَرَحْمَةً | |
| and monasticism, which they invented, We did not prescribe it for them | وَرَهْبَانِيَّةً ابْتَدَعُوهَا مَا كَتَبْنَاهَا عَلَيْهِمْ | |
| except the seeking of Allah SWT’s pleasure | إِلَّا ابْتِغَآءَ رِضْوَانِ اللهِ | |
| but they did not observe it with due observance | فَمَا رَعَوْهَا حَقَّ رِعَايَتِهَا | |
| so We gave the ones who believed among them their reward | فَئَاتَيْنَا الَّذِيْنَ آَمَنُوا مِنْهُمْ أَجْرَهُمْ | |
| 57-27 | but many of them are defiantly disobedient | وَكَثِيْرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسِقُوْنَ |
