The path of those You have bestowed Your Grace |
1-7 | not of those who have earned Your Anger nor of those who are astray |
Those are who purchased error with guidance |
2-16 | so, their commerce was profitless as they were not guided |
Verily Allah is not averse to set forth a parable of a gnat or what is more than it | إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَسْتَحْيِي أَنْ يَضْرِبَ مَثَلًا مَّا بَعُوْضَةً فَمَا فَوْقَهَا
and as for those who believe they know that it is the Truth from their Lord | فَأَمَّا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوْا فَيَعْلَمُوْنَ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَّبِّهِمْ
however as for those who disbelieve they say “What did Allah intend by this parable?”
2-26 | By it He misleads many and by it He guides many and He does not mislead by it but the rebellious |
Or do you wish to ask your Messenger as Musa (AS) was asked before | أَمْ تُرِيْدُوْنَ أَنْ تَسْئَلُوْا رَسُوْلَكُمْ كَمَا سُئِلَ مُوْسَى مِنْ قَبْلُ
2-108 | so, who changes faith for disbelieve has truly strayed from the even way | وَمَنْ يَتَبَدَّلِ الكُفْرَ بِالإِيْمَانِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَآءَ السَّبِيْلِ |
Those are they who purchased misguidance at the cost of guidance |
2-175 | and punishment at the cost of forgiveness, how persistent are they in pursuit of the fire |
There is no sin on you that you seek the bounty from your Lord |
so, when you depart from Arafat remember Allah (SWT) near the sacred monument (Muzdalifah) | فَإِذَآ أَفَضْتُمْ مِّنْ عَرَفَاتٍ فَاذْكُرُوا اللهَ عِنْدَ المَشْعَرِ الحَرَامِ
2-198 | and remember Him as He has guided you seeing that you were before of those who were not guided |
O you who believe! when you contract with one another any debt for a fixed term |
then write it and let a writer (scribe) write between you in justice | فَاكْتُبُوْهُ وَلْيَكْتُب بَّيْنَكُمْ كَاتِبٌ بِالعَدْلِ
and the writer must not refuse to write as Allah (SWT) taught him so, let him write | وَلَا يَأْبَ كَاتِبٌ أَن يَكْتَبَ كَمَا عَلَّمَهُ اللهُ فَلْيَكْتُبْ
and let who incurs the liability dictate and he must fear Allah (SWT) his Lord | وَلْيُمْلِلِ الَّذِي عَلَيْهِ الحَقُّ وَلْيَتَّقِ اللهَ رَبَّهُ
and diminish not from it anything but if is who on him is the debt | وَلَا يَبْخَسْ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا فَإِنْ كَانَ الَّذِي عَلَيْهِ الحَقُّ
poor in understanding or weak or unable to dictate for himself | سَفِيْهًا أَوْ ضَعِيْفًا أَوْ لَا يَسْتَطِيْعُ أَنْ يُمِلَّ هُوَ
then let his guardian dictate in justice and witness with two witnesses from your men | فَلْيُمْلِلْ وَلِيُّهُ بِالعَدْلِ وَاسْتَشْهِدُوا شَهِيْدَيْنِ مِن رِّجَالِكُمْ
and if there are not two men then a man and two women from what you are pleased | فَإِن لَّمْ يَكُوْنَا رَجُلَيْنِ فَرَجُلٌ وَامْرَأَتَانِ مِمَّن تَرْضَوْنَ
from witnessing, if one of them errs then the other of the two can remind her | مِنَ الشُّهَدَآءِ أَنْ تَضِلَّ إِحْدَاهُمَا فَتُذَكِّرَ إِحْدَاهُمَا الأُخْرَى
and the witnesses should not refuse when they are called and don’t be weary to write it | وَلَا يَأْبَ الشُّهَدَآءُ إِذَا مَا دُعُوا وَلَا تَسْئَمُوا أَنْ تَكْتُبُوْهُ
whether it be small or big for its fixed term | صَغِيْرًا أَوْ كَبِيْرًا إِلَى أَجَلِهِ
that is more just with Allah (SWT) and more solid as evidence and more convenient to prevent doubt | ذَلِكُمْ أَقْسَطُ عِنْدَ اللهِ وَأَقْوَمُ لِلشَّهَادَةِ وَأَدْنَى أَلَّا تَرْتَابُوا
except when it is a present trade you carry out on the spot between you | إِلَّآ أَنْ تَكُوْنَ تِجَارَةً حَاضِرَةً تُدِيْرُوْنَهَا بَيْنَكُمْ
then no sin on you if you don’t write it but take witnesses when you make a commercial contract | فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَلَّا تَكْتُبُوْهَا وَأَشْهِدُوا إِذَا تَبَايَعْتُمْ
and not the writer nor the witness must suffer any harm but if you do then truly it will be wickedness in you | وَلَا يُضَآرَّ كَاتِبٌ وَلَا شَهِيْدٌ وَإِنْ تَفْعَلُوا فَإِنَّهُ فُسُوْقٌ بِكُمْ
2-282 | and fear Allah (SWT) and Allah (SWT) teaches you and Allah (SWT) over everything is All-Knowing |
