| 2-10 | In their hearts is a disease and Allah (SWT) has increased their disease and for them is a painful punishment because they were liars | فِي قُلُوْبِهِمْ مَرَضٌ فَزَادَهُمُ اللهُ مَرَضًا وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيْمٌ بِمَا كَانُوْا يَكْذِبُوْنَ |
| 2-11 | And when it is said to them “Do not make mischief on the earth” they say “We are only peace-makers” | وَإِذَا قِيْلَ لَهُمْ لَا تُفْسِدُوْا فِي الأَرْضِ قَالُوْا إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُوْنَ |
| 2-15 | Allah (SWT) mocks at them and increases them in their wrongdoing to wander blindly | اللهُ يَسْتَهْزِئُ بِهِمْ وَ يَمُدُّهُمْ فِيْ طُغْيَانِهِمْ يَعْمَهُوْنَ |
| Their likeness is as the likeness of one who kindled a fire, then, when it lighted all around him, Allah (SWT) took away their light | مَثَلُهُمْ كَمَثَلِ الَّذِي اسْتَوْقَدَ نَارًا فَلَمَّا أَضَائَتْ مَا حَوْلَهُ ذَهَبَ اللهُ بِنُوْرِهِمْ | |
| 2-17 | and left them in darkness so they could not see | وَتَرَكَهُمْ فِي ظُلُمَاتٍ لَّا يُبْصِرُوْنَ |
| or like a rainstorm from the sky wherein is darkness, thunder and lightning. They thrust their fingers in their ears to keep | أَوْ كَصَيِّبٍ مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ فِيْهِ ظُلُمَاتٌ وَرَعْدٌ وَبَرْقٌ يَجْعَلُوْنَ أَصَابِعَهُمْ فِي ءَاذَانِهِمْ | |
| 2-19 | out the stunning thunderclap for fear of death but Allah (SWT) ever encompasses the disbelievers | مِّنَ الصَّوَاعِقِ حَذَرَ المَوْتِ وَاللهُ مُحِيْطٌ بِالكَافِرِيْنَ |
| The lightning almost snatches away their sight, whenever it flashes for them, they walk therein however when darkness covers them | يَكَادُ البَرْقُ يَخْطَفُ أَبْصَارَهُمْ كُلَّمَا أَضَاءَ لَهُمْ مَشَوْا فِيْهِ وَإِذَا أَظْلَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ | |
| 2-20 | they stand still. And if Allah (SWT) willed, He could have taken away their hearing and their sight. Certainly, Allah (SWT) has power over all things | قَامُوْا وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللهُ لَذَهَبَ بِسَمْعِهِمْ وَأَبْصَارِهِمْ إِنَّ اللهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ |
| and if you are in doubt concerning what We have sent down to Our slave, then produce a surah like it and call your supporters | وَإِنْ كُنْتُمْ فِي رَيْبٍ مِمَّا نَزَّلْنَا عَلَى عَبْدِنَا فَأْتُوْا بِسُوْرَةٍ مِّنْ مِثْلِهِ وَادْعُوْا شُهَدَاءَكُمْ | |
| 2-23 | other than Allah (SWT), if you are truthful | مِنْ دُوْنِ اللهِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِيْنَ |
| And give glad tidings to the believers and the righteous that for them will be gardens under which rivers flow | وَبَشِّرِ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوْا الصَّالِحَاتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ | |
| Every time they will be provided with fruit therefrom for provision, they will say “This is like the provision of before” | كُلَّمَا رُزِقُوْا مِنْهَا مِنْ ثَمَرَةٍ رِزْقًا قَالُوْا هَذَا الَّذِي رُزِقْنَا مِنْ قَبْلُ | |
| 2-25 | and they will be given things in resemblance, and for them therein purified spouses and they will abide therein forever | وَأُتُوْا بِهِ مُتَشَابِهًا وَلَهُمْ فِيْهَا أَزْوَاجٌ مُّطَهَّرَةٌ وَهُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُوْنَ |
| Those who break Allah (SWT’s) covenant after ratifying it and sever what Allah (SWT) has ordered in it to be joined (reached) | الَّذِيْنَ يَنْقُضُوْنَ عَهْدَ اللهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مِيْثَاقِهِ وَيَقْطَعُوْنَ مَا أَمَرَ اللهُ بِهِ أَنْ يُوْصَلَ | |
| 2-27 | and cause mischief on earth. Those, they are the losers | وَيُفْسِدُوْنَ فِي الأَرْضِ أُوْلَائِكَ هُمُ الخَاسِرُوْنَ |
| He it is Who created for you all that is on earth, then He established the heaven and proportioned them | هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ لَكُمْ مَّا فِي الأَرْضِ جَمِيْعًا ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَسَوَّاهُنَّ | |
| 2-29 | into seven heavens, He is All Knowing over everything | سَبْعَ سَمَوَاتٍ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيْمٌ |
| And when your Lord said to the angels “Verily I am going to place a vicegerent on earth,” | وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ إِنِّي جَاعِلٌ فِي الأَرْضِ خَلِيْفَةً | |
| they said “will you place in it one who will make mischief therein and shed blood? | قَالُوْا أَتَجْعَلُ فِيْهَا مَنْ يُفْسِدُ فِيْهَا وَيَسْفِكُ الْدِّمَآءَ | |
| 2-30 | while we glorify You with praises and sanctify You” He said “Truly I know that which you do not know” | وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِكَ وَنُقَدِّسُ لَكَ قَالَ إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ |
| Then Satan made them slip therefrom and got them out from that in which they were, and We said “Get you | فَأَزَلَّهُمَا الشَّيْطَانُ عَنْهَا فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا مِمَّا كَانَا فِيْهِ وَقُلْنَا اهْبِطُوْا | |
| 2-36 | down, all, with enmity between yourselves and Earth will be a dwelling for you and an enjoyment for a time | بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ وَلَكُمْ فِي الأَرْضِ مُسْتَقَرٌّ وَمَتَاعٌ إِلَى حِيْنٍ |
| However those who disbelieve and belie Our Signs, those are the companions of the fire | وَالَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَكَذَّبُوْا بِئَايَاتِنَا أُوْلَائِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ | |
| 2-39 | They shall abide therein forever | هُمْ فِيْهَا خَالِدُوْنَ |

| and not We made the companions of the fire, except angels | وَمَا جَعَلْنَآ أَصْحَابَ النَّارِ إِلَّا مَلَآئِكَةً | |
| and not We made their number, except a trial for those who disbelieve | وَمَا جَعَلْنَا عِدَّتَهُمْ إِلَّا فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا | |
| so that those who were given the book may be convinced and those who believe may increase in faith | لِيَسْتَيْقِنَ الَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُوا الكِتَابَ وَيَزْدَادَ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا إِيْمَانًا | |
| and those who were given the book and the believers do not doubt | وَلَا يَرْتَابَ الَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُوا الكِتَابَ وَالمُؤْمِنُوْنَ | |
| and those in whose hearts is a disease and the disbelievers may say “What does Allah (SWT) intend | وَلِيَقُوْلَ الَّذِيْنَ فِيْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ مَرَضٌ وَالكَافِرُوْنَ مَاذَآ أَرَادَ اللهُ | |
| by this example?” thus Allah (SWT) leads astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills | بِهَذَا مَثَلًا كَذَلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللهُ مَنْ يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَآءُ | |
| 74-31 | and he knows not the hosts of your Lord but He and this is not except a reminder to mankind | وَمَا يَعْلَمُ جُنُوْدَ رَبِّكَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَمَا هِيَ إِلَّا ذِكْرَى لِلْبَشَرِ |
| 74-40 | in gardens asking one another | فِي جَنَّاتٍ يَتَسَآءَلُوْنَ |
| 74-42 | “What led you into hell?” | مَا سَلَكَكُمْ فِي سَقَرَ |
| 76-13 | reclining in it on couches not will they see in it a sun and not cold | مُتَّكِئِيْنَ فِيْهَا عَلَى الأَرَآئِكِ لَا يَرَوْنَ فِيْهَا شَمْسًا وَلَا زَمْهَرِيْرًا |
| 76-17 | and they will be given to drink from it a cup, its mixture ginger | وَيُسْقُوْنَ فِيْهَا كَأْسًا كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا زَنْجَبِيْلًا |
| 76-18 | a spring in it called Salsabil | عَيْنًا فِيْهَا تُسَمَّى سَلْسَبِيْلًا |
| 76-31 | He will admit to His Mercy whomever He Wishes and the wrongdoers, He has prepared for them a severe punishment | يُدْخِلُ مَنْ يَشَآءُ فِيْ رَحْمَتِهِ وَالظَّالِمِيْنَ أَعَدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيْمًا |
| 77-21 | then We made (placed) it in a secure abode | فَجَعَلْنَاهُ فِي قَرَارٍ مَّكِيْنٍ |
| 77-27 | and We made in it, lofty firm mountains and We will give you sweet water to drink | وَجَعَلْنَا فِيْهَا رَوَاسِيَ شَامِخَاتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَاكُمْ مَآءً فُرَاتًا |
| 77-41 | Verily, the God fearing will be in shades and springs | إِنَّ المُتَّقِيْنَ فِي ظِلَالٍ وَعُيُوْنٍ |
| 78-3 | which they are in disagreement about | الَّذِي هُمْ فِيْهِ مُخْتَلِفُوْنَ |
| 78-18 | the day the trumpet will be blown, and you will come forth in crowds | يَوْمَ يُنْفَخُ فِي الصُّوْرِ فَتَأْتُوْنَ أَفْوَاجًا |
| 78-23 | remaining therein for ages | لَابِثِيْنَ فِيهآ أَحْقَابًا |
| 78-24 | not they will taste therein coolness nor drink | لَّا يَذُوْقُوْنَ فِيْهَا بَرْدًا وَلَا شَرَابًا |
| 78-35 | not, will they hear therein any vain talk nor falsehood | لَا يَسْمَعُوْنَ فِيْهَا لَغْوًا وَلَا كِذَّابًا |
| 79-10 | they will say, “Will we indeed be returned to the former state?” | يَقُوْلُوْنَ أَءِنَّا لَمَرْدُوْدُوْنَ فِي الحَافِرَةِ |
| 79-26 | truly in that is a lesson indeed for those who fear | إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِّمَنْ يَخْشَى |
| 79-43 | In what (position) you of mentioning it | فِيْمَ أَنْتَ مِنْ ذِكْرَاهَآ |
| 80-13 | in honored pages | فِي صُحُفٍ مُّكَرَّمَةٍ |
| 80-27 | then We caused grain to grow in it | فَأَنْبَتْنَا فِيْهَا حَبًّا |
| 82-8 | in whatever form which He willed; He assembled you | فِي أَيِّ صُوْرَةٍ مَّا شَآءَ رَكَّبَكَ |
| 82-13 | Truly the righteous will certainly be in bliss | إِنَّ الأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيْمٍ |
| 82-14 | and truly the wicked will certainly be in hellfire | وَإِنَّ الفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيْمٍ |
| 83-7 | Nay! truly the book of the wicked is in Sijjin (a book written) | كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَابَ الفُجَّارِ لَفِي سِجِّيْنٍ |
| 83-18 | Nay! truly, the book of the righteous is in Illiyin | كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَابَ الأَبْرَارِ لَفِي عِلِّيِّيْنَ |
| 83-22 | Truly the righteous will certainly be in bliss | إِنَّ الأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيْمٍ |
| 83-24 | you will recognize on their faces the glow of delight | تَعْرِفُ فِي وُجُوْهِهِمْ نَضْرَةَ النَّعِيْمِ |
| 83-26 | Its lingering flavor will be of musk so, in that then, let the aspirers aspire | خِتَامُهُ مِسْكٌ وَفِي ذَلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ المُتَنَافِسُوْنَ |
| 84-4 | and has cast out all that were in it and became empty | وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيْهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ |
| 84-13 | Verily, he was among his people in joy | إِنَّهُ كَانَ فِي أَهْلِهِ مَسْرُوْرًا |
| 85-19 | Nay, those who disbelieve are in denial | بَلِ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا فِي تَكْذِيْبٍ |
| 85-22 | in a guarded Tablet | فِي لُوحٍ مَّحْفُوظٍ |
| 87-13 | then, he will neither die in it, nor live | ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَى |
| 87-18 | verily, this is in the former scriptures | إِنَّ هَذَا لَفِي الصُّحُفِ الأُولَى |
| 88-10 | in a lofty paradise | فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ |
| 88-11 | Not will they hear in it falsehood | لَّا تَسْمَعُ فِيهَا لَاغِيَةً |
| 88-12 | therein will be a running spring | فِيهَا عَيْنٌ جَارِيَةٌ |
| 88-13 | therein will be thrones raised high | فِيهَا سُرُرٌ مَرْفُوعَةٌ |
| 89-5 | Are there (not) in these (oaths) a proof for men of understanding? | هَلْ فِي ذَلِكَ قَسَمٌ لِذِي حِجْرٍ |
| 89-8 | the like of which were not created in the land | الَّتِي لَمْ يُخْلَقْ مِثْلُهَا فِي البِلَادِ |
| 89-11 | who transgressed beyond bounds in the lands | الَّذِينَ طَغَوا فِي البِلَادِ |
| 89-12 | and made therein much mischief | فَأَكْثَرُا فِيهَا الفَسَادَ |
| 89-29 | Enter among My slaves | فَادْخُلِي فِي عِبَادِي |
| 90-4 | Indeed, we have created man in toil | لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الإِنْسَانَ فِي كَبَدٍ |
| 90-14 | or giving food in a day of hunger | أَوْ إِطْعَامٌ فِي يَوْمٍ ذِي مَسْغَبَةٍ |
| 95-4 | Certainly, We created man in the best form | لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ |
| 97-1 | Truly, We have sent it down in the night of Qadr | إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ |
| 97-4 | The Angels and Jibreel (A.S) descend therein by the permission of their Lord from every command | تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ مِنْ كُلِّ أَمْرٍ |
| 98-3 | In it are correct writings | فِيْهَا كُتُبٌ قَيِّمَةٌ |
| Truly those who disbelieve from the people of the book and the polytheists will be in the fire of hell | إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ | |
| 98-6 | abiding therein forever, those are the worst of creatures | خَالِدِيْنَ فِيهَا أُوْلَائِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ البَرِيَّةِ |
| Their reward is with their Lord, eternal gardens, underneath which rivers flow. They will abide therein forever | جَزَاؤُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهَمْ جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِيْنَ فِيْهَا أَبَدًا | |
| 98-8 | Allah (SWT) pleased with them and they with Him. That is for who feared his Lord | رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوْا عَنْهُ ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُ |
| 100-9 | Knows he not that when what is in the graves are poured forth | أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِي الْقُبُورِ |
| 100-10 | and that which is in the breasts is made known | وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي الصُّدُورِ |
| 101-7 | He will live in a pleasing life | فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٍ رَاضِيَةٍ |
| 103-2 | Surely man is in certain loss | إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ |
| 104-4 | Nay! he will certainly be thrown into the crusher | كَلَّا لَيُنْبَذَنَّ فِي الْحُطَمَةِ |
| 104-9 | in extended columns | فِي عَمَدٍ مُمَدَّدَةٍ |
| 105-2 | Did He not make their plan go into ruin? | أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِي تَضْلِيلٍ |
| 110-2 | And you see the people entering into the religion of Allah (SWT) in crowds | وَرَأَيْتَ النَّاسَ يَدْخُلُونَ فِي دِينِ اللَّهِ أَفْوَاجًا |
| 111-5 | In her neck a rope of twisted fiber | فِي جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِنْ مَسَدٍ |
| 113-4 | And from the evil of the evil whisperers who bind | وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ |
| 114-5 | Who whispers into the breasts of mankind | الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ |
