| 2-55 | but you were seized with a thunder bolt while you were looking | فَأَخَذَتْكُمُ الصَّاعِقَةُ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُوْنَ |
| They said, “Call upon your Lord for us to make clear to us its color?” | قَالُوْا ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّنْ لَّنَا مَا لَوْنُهَا | |
| He said “Truly He, He says it is certainly a yellow cow | قَالَ إِنَّهُ يَقُوْلُ إِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌ صَفْرَآءُ | |
| 2-69 | bright in its color, pleasing the ones who behold” | فَاقِعٌ لَّوْنُهَا تَسُرُّ النَّاظِرِيْنَ |
| O you who believe say not “listen to us” | يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوْا لَا تَقٌوْلُوْا رَاعِنَا | |
| rather say “make us understand” and listen | وَقُوْلُوْا انْظُرْنَا وَاسْمَعُوْا | |
| 2-104 | and for the disbelievers there is a painful torment | وَلِلْكَافِرِيْنَ عَذَابٌ أَلِيْمٌ |
| Abiding eternally therein, the punishment will not be lightened on them | خَالِدِيْنَ فِيْهَا لَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ العَذَابُ | |
| 2-162 | and they will not be reprieved | وَلَا هُمْ يُنْظَرُوْنَ |
| Are they waiting expecting that Allah (SWT) comes to them | هَلْ يَنْظُرُوْنَ إِلَّآ أَنْ يَأْتِيَهُمُ اللهُ | |
| in the shadows of the clouds along with the Angels? | فِى ظُلَلٍ مِّنَ الغَمَامِ وَالمَلَآئِكَةُ | |
| (If so) Then the matter would be decreed | وَقُضِيَ الأَمْرُ | |
| 2-210 | and to Allah (SWT) all matters return | وَإِلَى اللهِ تُرْجَعُ الأُمُوْرُ |
| or like the one who passed by a township | أَوْ كَالَّذِي مَرَّ عَلَى قَرْيَةٍ | |
| and it overturned on its roofs | وَهِيَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلَى عُرُوْشِهَا | |
| he said, “how will Allah (SWT) give life to this after its death?” | قَالَ أَنَّى يُحْيِى هَذِهِ اللهُ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا | |
| so, Allah (SWT) caused him to die for a hundred years then He raised him | فَأَمَاتَهُ اللهُ مِاْئَةَ عَامٍ ثُمَّ بَعَثَهُ | |
| He said, “How long you remained?” | قَالَ كَمْ لَبِثْتَ | |
| he said, ” I remained (dead) for a day or part of a day” | قَالَ لَبِثْتُ يَوْمًا أَوْ بَعْضَ يَوْمٍ | |
| he said, “Nay! you remained for a hundred years | قَالَ بَل لَّبِثْتَ مِاْئَةَ عَامٍ | |
| then look at your food and your drink, not a change through time | فَانْظُرْ إِلَى طَعَامِكَ وَشَرَابِكَ لَمْ يَتَسَنَّهْ | |
| and look at your donkey and let Us (We) make you a sign for the people | وَانْظُرْ إِلَى حِمَارِكَ وَلِنَجْعَلَكَ ءَايَةً لِلنَّاسِ | |
| and look to the bones how We raise them then We clothe them with flesh” | وَانْظُرْ إِلَى العِظَامِ كَيْفَ نُنْشِزُهَا ثُمَّ نَكْسُوْهَا لَحْمًا | |
| then it became clear to him, and he said | فَلَمَّا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُ قَالَ | |
| 2-259 | “I know that Allah (SWT) is All-Powerful over everything” | أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ اللهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ |
| and if he be possessing difficulty (hardship) then respite until ease | وَإِنْ كَانَ ذُو عُسْرَةٍ فَنَظِرَةٌ إِلَى مَيْسَرَةٍ | |
