2-192but if they cease then indeed Allah (SWT) is All-Forgiving, All-Mercifulفَإِنِ انْتَهَوْا فَإِنَّ اللهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ
and fight them until there is no more oppression and there be the religion of Allah (SWT)وَقَاتِلُوهُمْ حَتَّى لَا تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ وَيَكُونَ الدِّيْنُ لِلَّهِ
2-193but if they cease then let there be no hostility except against the oppressorsفَإِنِ انْتَهَوْا فَلَا عُدْوَانَ إِلَّا عَلَى الظَّالِمِيْنَ
those who consume usury, not they will stand except like stands the one whoالَّذِيْنَ يَأْكُلُوْنَ الرِّبَوا لَا يَقُوْمُوْنَ إِلَّا كَمَا يَقُوْمُ الَّذِي
Satan confounds him from the touch, that is because they say, “only the trade is like usury”يَتَخَبَّطُهُ الشَّيْطَانُ مِنَ المَسِّ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا إِنَّمَا البَيْعُ مِثْلُ الرِّبَوا
while Allah (SWT) has permitted trade and forbidden usury, then who, the admonition comes to him from his Lordوَأَحَلَّ اللهُ البَيْعَ وَحَرَّمَ الرِّبَوا فَمَنْ جَآءَهُ مَوْعِظَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِ
and he refrained, then for him what passed and his case is with Allah (SWT)فَانْتَهَى فَلَهُ مَا سَلَفَ وَأَمْرُهُ إِلَى اللهِ
2-275and who repeated then those are the companions of the fire they will abide therein foreverوَمَنْ عَادَ فَأُوْلَآئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيْهَا خَالِدُوْنَ
and let there be among you a people calling to the good ordering (encouraging) to the right (goodness)وَلْتَكُنْ مِّنْكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُوْنَ إِلَى الخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُوْنَ بِالمَعْرُوْفِ
3-104and they forbid from the wrong (evil) and those, they are the ones who are successfulوَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ المُنْكَرِ وَأُوْلَآئِكَ هُمُ المُفْلِحُوْنَ
You are the best people brought forth for mankind you order to the right and you forbid from the wrongكُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُوْنَ بِالمَعْرُوْفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ المُنْكَرِ
and you believe in Allah (SWT) and if the people of the book believed surely, it would have been better for themوَتُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِاللهِ وَلَوْ ءَامَنَ أَهْلُ الكِتَابِ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ
3-110among them are believers but most of them are defiantly disobedientمِّنْهُمُ المُؤْمِنُوْنَ وَأَكْثَرَهُمُ الفَاسِقُوْنَ
they believe in Allah (SWT) and the last day, and they enjoin to the rightيُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِاللهِ وَاليَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَيَأْمُرُوْنَ بِالمَعْرُفِ
and forbid from the wrong and they hasten to the goodوَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنْ المُنْكَرِ وَيُسَارِعُوْنَ فِي الخَيْرَاتِ
3-114and those are from the righteousوَأُوْلَآئِكَ مِنَ الصَّالِحِيْنَ
If you avoid the big of what you are forbidden from itإِنْ تَجْتَنِبُوا كَبَآئِرَ مَا تُنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ
4-31We will remove from you your evil deeds and We will admit you a noble admittanceنُكَفِّرْ عَنْكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَنُدْخِلْكُمْ مُّدْخَلًا كَرِيْمًا
and their taking usury while certainly they were forbidden from it, and they consume the wealth of the peopleوَأَخْذِهِمُ الرِّبَوا وَقَدْ نُهُوا عَنْهُ وَأَكْلِهِمْ أَمْوَالَ النَّاسِ
4-161with falsehood so We prepared for the disbelievers among them, a painful punishmentبِالبَاطِلِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِيْنَ مِنْهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيْمًا
O people of the book! don’t commit excess in your religion and don’t say about Allah (SWT)يَآ أَهْلَ الكِتَابِ لَا تَغْلُوا فِي دِيْنِكُمْ وَلَا تَقُوْلُوا عَلَى اللهِ
except the truth, only the Messiah, Isa (AS) son of Mary, messenger of Allah (SWT) and His Wordإِلَّا الحَقَّ إِنَّمَا المَسِيْحُ عِيْسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ وَكَلِمَتُهُ
which He conveyed to Maryam (RA) and a spirit from Him so believe in Allah (SWT) and His messengersأَلْقَاهَآ إِلَى مَرْيَمَ وَرُوْحٌ مِّنْهُ فَئَامِنُوا بِاللهِ وَرُسُلِهِ
and don’t say “three”, desist (is) better for youوَلَا تَقُوْلُوا ثَلَاثَةٌ انْتَهُوا خَيْرًا لَّكُمْ
(say) only Allah (SWT) is a God, One, Glory be to Him! that He has for Him a sonإِنَّمَا اللهُ إِلَاهٌ وَاحِدٌ سُبْحَانَهُ أَنْ يَكُوْنَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ
4-171belongs to Him what is in the heavens and what is on the earth and sufficient is Allah (SWT) as a Guardian (Trustee-Manager)لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ وَكَفَى بِاللهِ وَكِيْلً
Why do the rabbis and the religious scholars not forbid them from sinful wordsلَوْ لَا يَنْهَاهُمُ الرَّبَّانِيُّونَ وَالأَحْبَارُ عَنْ قَوْلِهِمُ الإِثْمَ
5-63and from consuming the forbidden Evil indeed, is what they used to doوَأَكْلِهِمُ السُّحْتَ لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُوا يَصْنَعُوْنَ
Certainly, those disbelieved who say “Allah (SWT) is the third of three and of gods there are none except One Godلَقَدْ كَفَرَ الَّذِيْنَ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللهَ ثَالِثُ ثَلَاثَةٍ وَمَا مِنْ إِلَاهٍ إِلَّآ إِلَآهٌ وَاحِدٌ
5-73and if they desist not regarding what they say a painful punishment will surely touch (afflict) those who disbelievedوَإِنْ لَّمْ يَنْتَهُوا عَمَّا يَقُوْلُوْنَ لَيَمَسَّنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا مِنْهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيْمٌ
They used to not prevent one another from the wrong that they didكَانُوا لَا يَتَنَاهَوْنَ عَنْ مُّنْكَرِ فَعَلُوهُ
5-79Surely, evil was what they were doingلَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُوا يَفْعَلُوْنَ
Satan only wishes to cause enmity and hatred between you with intoxicantsإِنَّمَا يُرِيْدُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَنْ يُوْقِعَ بَيْنَكُمُ العَدَاوَةَ وَالبَغْضَآءَ فِي الخَمْرِ
5-91and gambling and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah (SWT) and the prayer Then, will you not be the ones who abstain?وَالمَيْسِرِ وَيَصُدَّكُمْ عَنْ ذِكْرِ اللهِ وَعَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فَهَلْ أَنْتُمْ مُّنْتَهُوْنَ
and they forbid from him, and they keep away from himوَهُمْ يَنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ وَيَنْئَوْنَ عَنْهُ
6-26and they destroy not except themselves, but they perceive notوَإِنْ يُهْلِكُونَ إِلَّا أَنْفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُوْنَ
Nay! What they were concealing from before became manifest for themبَلْ بَدَا لَهُمْ مَا كَانُوا يُخْفُوْنَ مِنْ قَبْلُ
6-28and if they were sent back, they would certainly return to what they were forbidden and indeed, they are certainly liarsوَلَوْ رُدُّوا لَعَادُوا لِمَا نُهُوا عَنْهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُوْنَ
Say, “Truly I have been forbidden to worship those you call from other than Allah (SWT)”قُلْ إِنِّي نُهِيْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ الَّذِيْنَ تَدْعُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللهِ
6-56say, “I will not follow your vain desires” “Certainly, I will go astray then, and will not be from the guided ones”قُلْ لَّآ أَتَّبِعُ أَهْوَآءَكُمْ قَدْ ضَلَلْتُ إِذًا وَمَآ أَنَا مِنَ المُهْتَدِيْنَ

79-40but who feared standing (before) his Lord and restrained his soul from desires (inclinations)وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ وَنَهَى النَّفْسَ عَنِ الهَوَى
79-44to your Lord is its limitsإِلَى رَبِّكَ مُنْتَهَاهَآ
96-9Have you seen him who prevents?أَرَءَيْتَ الَّذِي يَنْهَى
96-15Nay, if he ceases not, We will surely catch him by the forelockكَلَّا لَئِنْ لَّمْ يَنْتَهِ لَنَسْفَعًا بِالنَّاصِيَةِ
