| And to Thamud their brother Salih (AS) he said, “O my people, worship Allah (SWT) | وَإِلَى ثَمُوْدَ أَخَاهُمْ صَالِحًا قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللهَ | |
| not for you from a God beside Him | مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ إِلَاهٍ غَيْرُهُ | |
| verily, came to you a clear proof from your Lord | قَدْ جَآءَتْكُمْ بَيِّنَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ | |
| this she camel of Allah (SWT) is a sign for you so leave her to eat | هَذِهِ نَاقَةُ اللهِ لَكُمْ ءَايَةً فَذَرُوْهَا تَأْكُلْ | |
| 7-73 | on the earth of Allah (SWT) and let not any harm touch her lest a painful punishment seizes you | فِي أَرْضِ اللهِ وَلَا تَمَسُّوْهَا بِسُوءٍ فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيْمٌ |
| So, they hamstrung the she-camel and defied the command of their Lord | فَعَقَرُوا النَّاقَةَ وَعَتَوا عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ | |
| and they said, “O Salih (AS) bring us to what you promise us | وَقَالُوا يَا صَالِحُ ائْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ | |
| 7-77 | if you be from those who are sent (messengers)” | إِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ المُرْسَلِيْنَ |
| and O my people! this she-camel of Allah (SWT) is a sign to you | وَيَا قَوْمِ هَذِهِ نَاقَةُ اللهِ لَكُم ءَايَةً | |
| so leave her to feed in the land of Allah (SWT) | فَذَرُوهَا تَأْكُلْ فِى أَرْضِ اللهِ | |
| 11-64 | and do not touch her with evil lest a near torment should touch you” | وَلَا تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوءٍ فَيَأْخُذَكُم عَذَابٌ قَرِيْبٌ |
